Charming Farmhouse located on a private road 9 miles from Round Top sits on idyllic 20 acres has a large wraparound porch with rockers and swings. Open two-story pine interior in Main House includes large downstairs bedroom (king and day bed) with master bath and two upstairs bedrooms with 3 beds (queen and 2 twin) and bath. Cabin has 2 beds (full and twin) and bath with large ball/claw bathtub. Beautifully appointed with comfortable furnishings. Excellent WiFi, smart TVs, barbecue pit, canoe and paddles, hammocks. Former horse farm with barns and corral. Rescue horses roam in outer pastures. Private road for walks.

Livin' the Country-Chic Dream

If you are looking for rustic charm in a beautiful, quiet spot, this house is for you. Very convenient to Round Top, yet just far enough away to get away from the hubbub. Would definitely rent here again.

Perfect place for a girls weekend. Quiet, country setting. Lovely wrap around porch, great open living-kitchen area allowed group conversations. The beds were extremely comfortable. Beautifuly decorated. Would love to come back.

Adorable farmhouse perfect for groups

Our group came to shop the Antique Market in Round Top. It was the perfect place to stay! Recommend getting groceries in Giddings on the way in as there isn’t anything close but the house has everything else you could need.

Girls trip

We had a wonderful stay!! It was perfect for the long weekend of shopping at round top! It was a perfect house to come back to after a long day and relax while sitting on the porch. We fed the horses and donkey apples. They were very friendly! The house was very clean and plenty of room for all of us!

Great Girls’ Weekend!

A group of five of us stayed at the farm for a pre-wedding girls’ weekend. The house was cute and well-stocked. The front porch was fantastic for sitting, visiting, and watching (birds, deer, horses, armadillos, and weather)! We loved walking around the property and spending quality time with the sweet horses and Donkey-otie! Easy 15 minute drive into Round Top. We look forward to going back!

Fun with family in the country!

The property was lovely. Our group changed because of some family and friend health scares, but it ended up being perfect. We loved the porch in the evening, cooking dinner in the kitchen and being able to watch movies on Netflix at night. A perfect respite after shopping in Round Top and all around during the day.

This ranch house has a great view from back porch down to the pond.

Really well put together ranch house with complete kitchen Everything needed is there and well decorated with a great back porch views Close to Round Top (20 mins ) really made it easy to shop Neighbor has 4 horses and one little donkey that just love to be feed apples and carrots. Really nice house

Amazing getaway

We spent Thanksgiving at this property and had an amazing time. The pictures do not do it justice. The patio was my favorite part it was so relaxing and enjoyed all the sitting so the whole family could soak up the sunsets and sunrise. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Both sets of my grandparents had farms in Fayette County and I grew up, a city boy in Houston, spending every weekend with them - roaming the pastures, riding horses and being in the open spaces under the stars. After living in Chicago for 28 years, I am happy to be back in the land of my childhood, and happy to share it with others.

Why they chose this property

I love the rolling pastures, the ponds and trees and the many open spaces. One of my favorite things is riding the tractor, like I did as a child, and there is plenty to mow!
