This little gem of a home is in a nice central location to all Cape Breton has to offer.

This property was close to the Cabot Trail and just outside the main town of Baddeck. The property was very cosy on the main floor. We could go to all the places we wanted to go to easily.

Such a lovely little home! Great location, close to the Cabot Trail and local attractions. House was clean and well appointed. Kim was a fantastic host and was very easy to get a hold of. Would highly recommend.

The cottage is in an excellent location for seeing the area. It was very clean and the upstairs level was well appointed, with a nice living room and eating area. Washer and dryer were much appreciated!Basement (where two of the bedrooms are) has concrete floors with rugs on top, and a slight smell of damp. Stairs down were very steep, and could be a problem for someone with mobility issues. No bathroom downstairs either. Finding the driveway to enter the property was a challenge, as it is not well marked and entrance is on a curve from a busy highway. We had a good stay and enjoyed visiting the area.

This place was great for a launch point for our travels exploring the Cabot trail. The accommodations were clean. The place was 15 minutes north of the village of Beddeck. It was a little difficult to find off of the main road, but we were grateful for a turning point not too far down the road. The basement was musty, so if you will be bothered by this, note that there is only 1 bedroom on the main floor, the two basement bedrooms are damp.

I was hoping that the property was manicured a little better as shown in the photo.There was no real ocean view as it was blocked by the trees. The bed we used upstairs could use a new mattress. Overall the amenities promised were mostly there and it was a pleasant stay.

The main floor of the home was very nice: clean and well equipped. Bedding and linens were nice. My daughter and son-in-law stayed on lower floor which was finished nicely but had bare cement floor with area rugs. Ceiling tiles were damaged and there were mice in the ceiling which may account for the stale odour (didn’t notice the smell upstairs.) The beds are all in serious need of replacement. The yard is very pretty and the location is great. Unfortunately the house is just a hundred yards off the Trans Canada highway so it is too noisy to really enjoy the deck. The host was really nice and went out of her way to ensure an easy check in and that the house was clean and ready for us when we arrived.

Cozy house in a great location

This house was centrally located to everything we wanted to do while in this area of Cape Breton. It was quiet and comfortable and we appreciated being able to do laundry. I would recommend it to other travelers.

Amazing Location

We loved how close this property was to the Cabot Trail and only 45 minutes from Sydney. It's great for those who want to spend lots of time exploring the Trail. The owner was responsive and helpful

Best place to stay in Cape Breton

I can’t recommend this place enough, and it most definitely won’t be our last time to visit. We were storm stuck here and Kim went above and beyond to accommodate us and make sure we were comfortable and safe. Again, we will definitely be back and look forward to our next stay. Thank you Kim again.
