The view is amazing! The condo overlooks the pristine white sand beach and has a beautiful Gulf view. This second floor gulf front condo has a heated pool and a tennis court. This remodeled condo is furnished to an exceptional contemporary standard, with travertine flooring throughout, new beds, furniture and appliances (bluetooth wireless Bose box, Nespresso coffee machine, flat screens TV's in every room (65" and 32" in bedrooms) and free WiFi. The Master bedroom has a King and the Guest bedroom a Queen and XL Twin. Two bathrooms and a well furnished kitchen, washer/dryer. You may sun, relax or walk for miles...shelling is outstanding. Several golf courses are nearby. Longboat Key, a barrier isle, is nestled between Sarasota bay and the Gulf of Mexico, voted #2 in the Condé Nast Traveler 2010 Readers' Choice Awards for Top Islands in North America. Whitney Beach is located on the north end of the island.
All rooms have flatscreens TV's. In the bedrooms 32'' and in the living room 65". In the living room there is Bose Soundlink Bluetooth Mobile Speaker. You can enjoy your music wirelessly from your smarthphone, tablet, laptop or other bluetooth enabled device. Nespresso coffee machine in the kitchen, other coffee machines at your choice.

Very nice accommodation. Well stocked with cooking utensils. Loved the beach and neighborhood. Always felt safe. Pool was heated and very accessible without many people. Outdoor gas grill was appreciated. Great overall!

Amazing condo just steps from the ocean

This property is a gem ! We have stayed here before and loved it both times ! The condo is outfitted with all of the amenities you will need . The priceless ocean view and sunsets are unbeatable . The owners reply immediately to questions and have kept up the property very well. There is also on site maintenance and so many friendly neighbors that are there for you during your stay. The location is key and there are so many options in the neighborhood to walk , eat , exercise, shop or just watch the ocean. I highly recommend this property !

Wonderful month on the beach

Beautiful condo overlooking the Gulf and beautiful beach. Very quiet and beautifully furnished and well equipped. Only suggestion might be to add additional flatware.? We occasionally came up short since we usually ran the dishwasher only once a day.

Amazing View

My husband and I spent the month of May at the condo. Another couple joined us for one week of our stay. If you are looking for a great view and a nearly private beach, this is the spot. The condo is well equipped and well furnished. The only items that are less than top notch are the sheets that keep coming off the mattress (The problem looks to be the mattress pad.) and the small, dated bathrooms. All in all, it is a great place to stsy.

We had a great time in this ideally situated home, we already knew the area very well it was our 5 th visit at this time of the year, the position on the beachgave us wonderful views and great walks, we found the apartment well furnished and clean, the only thing that could have improved our experience would have been a small welcome pack such as bread milk etc. As we were arriving very late. We would definitely return

Construction Zone

The condo had a beautiful view but the whole of Whitney Beach is under construction as a result of the hurricane and we were led to believe that the construction would be complete.As well the roofers worked on the roof of our building for the last two days of our stay and the noise was horrendous.Also the cable for the TV was not working for the first two weeks and the pool wasn’t accessible Hopefully by next season the situation will be remediated..

Blue Skies and Gulf of Mexico

Condo is situated footsteps from the beautiful gulf and shell haven of Whitney Beach. What could go wrong? Nothing! Everything was easy to figure out and access from the front door to a wide range of appliances. They owners have supplied everything and some, yet you have plenty of room left to bring your own supplies. Having booked multiple times on LBK this was honesty the most perfect setup for a 2 bedroom that gives you room to invite family or friends to share the joy of the beach .Owners were responsive to a few minor issues and nothing came up that was actually worth complaining about. Overall, a wonderful month for me and can't wait to have the opportunity to go back..

Whitney Beach

This was our third time staying in this condo overlooking the Gulf. It has a wonderful view and beautifully equiped kitchen. As other reviews have said the linens do need updating as the sheets would not stay in place on the beds. Once the owners can get to the condo I am sure they will take care of this. wish we could rent it again next year.

Spectacular views and beach!

We spent the month of March at this fantastic property. The views and the place are gorgeous! Walking distance to 5 restaurants including the new Shore restaurant on the water. Fully stocked kitchen and gas bbq across parking lot made for convenient in unit cooking during covid. Extra beach chairs and umbrellas in the storage unit. Check in and check out was a breeze. Pool was wonderful and the people very friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. In unit laundry is key. We’ve been going to Longboat during March for over 30 years and usually stay at the south end. This was a nice change of pace. Quiet but still only ten minutes to Publix and 20 to St. Armand’s. We fished at least three times a week across the street on the bayou. Catching snapper, pompano, and a black grouper. Very fun. A few minor notes: the bathrooms are small. If you’re used to large luxury bathrooms with dual sinks in the master, then just be prepared. My husband immediately moved into the guest bath since we were alone most of the time. Also, the owners might want to invest in a few deep fitting cal king fitted sheets. I had to re-attach the fitted sheet on the king bed every morning. The bed was extremely comfortable with a wonderful pillow top, but the sheets didn’t fit properly. Beach replenishment started ten days before our departure obstructing our view, but the owns have no control over the local government plans. All in all, a wonderful property and stay! This is one of the most beautiful rentals that my husband and I have rented in our winter getaways in Florida. The property is very well maintained. The area is quiet and the views from the condo are exceptional!! Loved our time there!!

Perfect Winter Getaway

After traveling to the North end of Longboat let for 5 years now , my husband and I decided to rent a place on our own. We knew the location of this condo was exactly where we wanted to be but we were not familiar with the complex. Upon arrival we were so pleased with the location and the amenities! The condo is located on the second floor with a perfect view of the ocean , not only from the living area but the master bedroom as well. The condo has been totally updated unlike many others condos on the key. The beds are comfortable and they have everything and anything you would need during your stay. The furniture is so comfortable and the layout of the condo worked perfect for us to spread out, and work from home , cook and watch the amazing sunsets ! I love to cook and the kitchen was very well stocked with anything you may need during your stay . I did notice the maintenance man daily on the property so it was comforting to know that if we needed anything . I only have one suggestion , if you are picky about your bed linens like I am, you might want to bring your own . They bed linens they provide are fine , just worn from use . The owners Theo and Elise were extremely pleasant and easy to communicate with. We definitely will be back , what an awesome stay we had at Whitney Beach!

Beach paradise

Loved, loved the location on the quiet end of the key and the spectacular Gulf frontage giving us beautiful views, sunsets, private beach, soothing sound of the waves, cool breezes. Very well equipped kitchen and nice contemporary decor.

Very nice condo

We absolutely loved our month at your beautiful condo! It exceeded our expectations. The view is absolutely fantastic. We have stayed in Longboat Key for many years, but this was without a doubt our favorite place. From the superb accommodations to the quiet beauty of the north end of the Key, we could not have asked for more. I knew we needed to return when one evening I awoke to the full moon shining like a spotlight on the gulf from the master bedroom. Thank you for letting us return to your little piece of heaven next year!

Incredible 2bd 2 bath on Gulf of Mexico

Don't miss out on this lovely condo on Whitney Beach. Every little detail will be taken care of. The unit is sleek, clean and beautifully located between Anna Marina Island and Saint Armand's Circle. Theo and Elise are lovely people and extremely responsive hosts. You will fall in love, we promise!

Beach Living At It's Best

Our family of five stayed at this property during the entire month of July 2017. We had an amazing experience. We've been renting properties on HomeAway.com for over 8 years and this condo is now on our "Top 3 Favorite" rentals. The property is all about location, view, floor plan and amenities. If your looking for a non-touristy and private retreat on the beach in the Sarasota area, Whitney Beach in Longboat Key is a perfect location. The second floor beach and ocean view is priceless. The condo is very comfortable and with all the amenities any home renter will need during your stay. We really liked that the condo community is small with just few buildings on the ocean front side offering a lot of privacy. The condo's layout is great due to the open concept of the living room, dinning room and kitchen which makes the unit feel larger and spacious. It's stylish modern contemporary decor is simple yet sophisticated. Everything you need from shopping, dinning and entertainment are just a few minutes drive away. We'd like to also mention that the condo owners were wonderful to work with, booking the property directly with them was effortless. They were very professional, efficient and helpful during our entire booking process and rental experience. We are definitely returning for another stay. If you are considering this property, look no further.

Wonderful Condo - Stunning View!

We live and work in the Netherlans. In our sparetime we love to go walking, invite friends for a nice diner or visit one of the many Museums in Amsterdam. Amsterdam packs tons of variety into a fairly small space so there is always a lot to do. Amsterdam’s Canal Ring, the bridges, barges and bicycles set a typical Amsterdam scène. We love to work and live here but Longboat Key is our favorite place for a relaxing vacation.

Why they chose this property

Theo visited Longboat Key 25 years ago and he thought at that time, this is the most beautiful beach I have ever seen and here is where I want to buy a condo when it is possible. His dream came truth. We updated this Gulffront condo to an European modern style and are very happy with it.

First class accommodation that is ideally located for a very relaxing vacation. Private beach, wheather, friendly people, first class restaurants and nature of Longboat Key. This kind of nature and beaches you do not find in Europa and that makes this an unique place.
