John a retired dentist and Deb a former flight attendant traveled extensively in the middle Atlantic states. On one trip from D.C. to Charleston they spent the night in Pawleys Island and discovered the Pawleys Plantation Golf and Country Club resort, rented a condo in the Weehawka Woods, enjoyed their stay so much that when the unit they occupied came on the market, they purchased it as a vacation rental and home away from home.

Why they chose this property

Our condo occupies a choice location overlooking the 10th fairway of a championship golf course with all the amenities that go with the location. Walking distance to the clubhouse and restaurants. Short drive to some of the most stunning beaches in the country. Seafood and gourmet cuisine all a short drive away. Water parks and amusement parks a 20 minute drive north.

What makes this property unique

Close proximity to the beaches a definite plus. Sand, sun surf within a few minutes drive. Lots of windows make the interior of the property bright and sunny year around. Screened in porch lets you enjoy the outdoors for the evening cocktail or morning breakfast. Beautiful grounds to walk or bike. Watch the moon rise from the spacious front porch. Spend the evenings listening to the waves roar as the tide comes onto the south beach of the island. We love it here.
