Host profile image

I am originally from Hershey, Pennsylvania and my husband is a native Mainer. After spending several years out of state going to college, we returned to Maine and started several businesses which we still operate. We also have several private rentals. This particular rental is on the same property as our home. We greatly enjoy our home and property and are happy to share it with others. We enjoy people, hosting and creating a good experience for our guests!

What makes this property unique

I think the private western sunset view over Mount Washington makes it very unique. Also, because it is part of our personal 17 acre home estate we are always doing things around the property to make it better. We built a 50 foot pondless tiered waterfall, that runs seasonally in spring summer and fall. It is a perfect place to sit on the rocks, with your bare feet and listen to the water. There are roadways and trails that guests are welcome to walk. Local wildlife sometimes makes their appearance in the form of deer, turkeys, foxes, birds, etc. We are located less than a mile to Sabattus Pond and close to many other lakes. We do own kayaks which our guests are welcome to borrow. Guests are responsible to transport them to the water, have lifejackets, and kiak at their own risk.
