Excellent communication and very accommodating to our needs! Quaint place and comfortable although bathroom is very small and minimal kitchenette. Should add to listing that is no parking on site. Would definitely stay again.
Centrally located near shops and restaurants. Very comfortable bed. Lovely renovated historic carriage house. The old cobblestone floors are a very nice touch..
This is a very comfortable, clean, quiet, well-air-conditioned carriage house that is just steps away from the shops and restaurants of King Street and a relatively short walk from the Potomac/waterfront. This carriage house is situated in a very urban setting. That means, what you see out of your windows is very urban -- the backs of commercial buildings, their parking spots, their messy garbage bins. Workers in those buildings also used the area outside the carriage house to smoke. We kept all curtains and blinds completely closed at all times to seal that out. We're from NY, we lived in Brooklyn for decades, we get urban -- and as we were out and about most of the time, we were OK with accommodations that simply provided us with a cool, clean, quiet, comfortable place to sleep. If you are not used to urban and want to stay on one of Alexandria's charming and historic streets, this is a different atmosphere.

The picture was photoshopped as the rugs were old and dirty as were the chairs! No fixture in bathroom just a bulb which you cant see in the pics!!! Worst part RATS running in the courtyard where the front of the house is!!! Dumpsters overflowing with garbage!!! Afraid to enter the apt. Owner replied back to my text immediately but nothing was done to rectify the issue!!!! Alexandria very pretty and great restaurants but watch where you stay as they have a rodent problem
