The house was everything we hoped for! The kitchen was stocked as if you were home. The setting was so peaceful! I highly recommend this charming home, a mix of new and old, to anyone visiting the area!

Sequoia House was perfect for our family weekend. Large deck with plenty of seating, expansive lawn with lots of wild turkeys and substantial bedrooms made everyone comfortable; offering places to be together and a place to escape for some quiet, if needed. We didn’t take advantage of the fire pit, but would have if we’d stayed any longer.

This home was great for a long weekend girl's trip! The host was wonderful allowing us to check in a bit early. The kitchen had everything we needed and more, beds were comfortable. There is a nice deck on the back to have morning coffee. Wonderful place!

The property is lovely and super clean. The decor was nice and there were lots of rooms to explore. The kitchen is fully stocked, with spices and olive oil. We saw a wild turkey walk through the spacious yard. Up the road is a horse farm. We befriended a very accessible goat farm where our kids got to pet goats and we bought goat cheese. Such a peaceful place.

We were pleased with the home. Everything was clean and accurately represented in the pictures. I recommend putting a shade or blinds in the basement bedroom window (if other guests were enjoying the backyard, there is no privacy. I changed in the bathroom. I was thankful we were in the basement bedroom where there was a beautiful shower. The first floor clawfoot tub turned into a shower wouldn't be my preferred shower, but it got the job done.

We loved everything about our stay, in reference to comfort of beds, peaceful setting, clean and tidy, and spacious. Our only complaint is that there seemed to be a “sewer” smell downstairs, which seemed to come mainly from laundry and shower area. We had to bring the misting scent dispenser downstairs at night to mask the smell. It even seemed to make some of our clothes smell as well. Just thought you would want to be aware.
