Step into a piece of Connecticut history at this beautifully preserved 3-bedroom, 2-bath home in Goshen, originally built in 1735 and thoughtfully expanded in 1865.



Full of character, from original hardwood floors and exposed wood beam ceilings to charming architectural details, this home offers a unique blend of historic charm and modern comfort. Set on a private one-acre property, it’s the perfect setting to relax, gather, and enjoy everything Litchfield County has to offer.

As with many country homes in New England, you will also notice a ladybug inside during the spring months. They are completely harmless and simply part of country living.

Ideally located in the heart of Litchfield County, with easy access to the area’s most sought-after destinations.

IMPORTANT NOTES

- Pool is open Memorial Day through Labor Day

- Pool is unheated and naturally heated by the sun

- Pools depth is approximately 3.5' - 6'

- Window A/C units are provided in each bedroom for comfortable sleeping during the warmer months.

- The living and dining areas are not air conditioned, but numerous fans are available throughout the home to keep air circulating.

- On cooler evenings, we encourage guests to open the windows and enjoy the fresh country air.

- All windows open with screens for natural airflow, and the screened porch provides additional ventilation

- Yard is mostly fenced but not fully enclosed, pets should be supervised

Fireplaces:

Fireplaces are not available for guest use

Wood stove in upstairs bedroom should not be used



Home Details:

- This is a historic home with original features, including uneven floors and antique doors.

- Some of the original doors may occasionally stick due to the home's age. A gentle push or light bump with your hip is often all that's needed to open them.

- The original staircase is steeper than those found in most modern homes. Please use extra care when carrying luggage or if traveling with young children.

- The bedroom skylight windows in the primary suite are wonderful to open on cool evenings and let in the fresh country air.

- Not handicap accessible
