We had a wonderful stay at this cozy lake-view apartment in Loudon! The hot tub was definitely a highlight — so relaxing and perfect for unwinding in the evenings. The bed was super comfortable, and we really appreciated the thoughtful touches like snacks, coffee, and creamer waiting for us.We didn’t end up using the kitchen, but it appeared very well stocked for anyone planning to cook or prepare meals during their stay.The property felt peaceful and inviting. With fuller trees in the summer, it seems like it would be even more private as the foliage would block more of the view from neighboring properties (there are no curtains on the windows). That said, it wasn’t an issue for us — just something to note depending on the season.If we’re ever back in the area, we would absolutely stay here again. We really enjoyed it!

I had to wait around to hear from the owner because the code for the door was not set to what I was told. Upon entering, the place smelled. Had to get air fresheners, but that did little good. Every time you entered the place the odor would hit you. Inside the place was well kept except for the odor. There is reason there are really no pictures from the outside. Had I known it was at the end of a 3 bay storage building, I would not have rented it. The hot tub looked nice but it was not used because of the surroundings. We would not have felt comfortable. The first morning I layed in the bed listening to noises of something moving around. Later that afternoon, it sounded like something going crazy trying to scratch its way through the walls. I contacted the owner who's only response was, I thought I took care of that. I guess I will have to put stuff out to try to run the things off. No, I'm sorry. I will get someone or I will be right over. It felt more like, when I get the chance. After that experience my wife jumped at every sound. The beautiful lake view was through the neighbors vehicles and trailers. One of which was loaded with junk. Out the living room window was a pallet leaning against a piece of fencing. We did have an enjoyable time while we were out in the local areas. Would I stay there again or recommend it to someone I know, absolutely not. We paid good money for this and deserved better than we got.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry to hear that your stay did not meet expectations. Regarding check-in, there was a brief delay of approximately 10 minutes in providing the door code. I did return your call shortly after and ensured you were able to access the property. I apologize for that inconvenience. During your stay, I was managing multiple unexpected personal matters, including the loss of close individuals and attending several funerals that weekend. I understand that guests should not be impacted by personal circumstances, I did my best to remain responsive and address concerns as they were brought to my attention. When you reached out about possible wildlife activity, I responded and took action in 30 mins by placing deterrents that have been effective in the past. Additionally, I arranged for a professional exterminator, who serviced the property the following business day. I also installed an air purifier immediately after your stay to further improve the environment. As for the property description, the listing accurately reflects the space as a lakeside apartment. We do not advertise unobstructed lake views, and the setting is consistent with the description and photos provided. I do take all guest feedback seriously and continuously work to improve the experience. Prior to your stay, we have had many positive reviews, and steps have already been taken to address the concerns you mentioned. I appreciate you staying with us and wish you the best.
