Welcome to The Boreal Basecamp, a cozy ski-in/ski-out studio condo at Lutsen Mountain. Located within Caribou Highlands Resort, this mountain retreat features Moose Mountain views from the deck, a wood-burning fireplace, and easy access to year-round North Shore adventure.

Pet-Friendly: While this unit welcomes one pet - it must be disclosed at the time of booking. Please be sure to select the “I am traveling with pets” box under the traveler details when making your reservation. A $125 non-refundable pet fee will apply.

Parking: One designated parking space is included. Additional resort parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Resort Amenities: Pools, hot tubs, and shared amenities are HOA-managed and may close without notice. Availability is not guaranteed, and refunds are not provided for amenity closures.

Ski Access: Ski-in/ski-out access depends on Lutsen Mountains operations, weather, snow conditions, and trail availability and is outside the host’s control.

Rental Agreement: A short registration and Escape VRM Rental Agreement must be completed after booking and before check-in details are released.

A 3% cancellation fee applies to all cancellations.

Weather: Refunds are not provided for weather, environmental, air-quality, or related travel disruptions. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.

Perfect spot for my wife and I. We used the pools and hot tub during our 4 day stay. Went to Grand Marais, hiked every day, ate at Bluefin, rode the gondola, and even saw a bear! A great spot for a vacation like this. The room had everything we needed.

Great location, cute place, clean and cozy. Loved the phonograph and record collection. The pool and jacuzzi area just down the stairs was awesome, along with quick walk to Moguls for dinner and drinks.

We had a lovely time and will be back again. The place had everything we needed and so tidy/clean/well kept. The kitchen was so well stocked and hosts were responsive. Pool and hot tub were also operating during our stay and was perfect.
