The location is spectacular- right on the water, but not scary close. Pet friendly for sure. Bring a sleep mask- no window or skylight coverings and the morning sun and moonlight are bright. This has a mix of old lake house vibe with some renovations. For the price, expected more of the updates.

Loved location, parts of house pretty dated. Grill wasn’t usable. Rain created mudslide but when we called the rental agent, someone came right away and cleaned it up.

The best thing about this house is the view and location right on the lake. The hosts were very responsive when we could not find the fire pit. They provided a new one which we appreciated. The fire pit was a great addition to use on the shore at night roasting marshmallows and hot dogs. . No need to bring firewood as there is plenty onsite. The beds were comfortable. No shades in the master bedroom but that was fine with me as the view was amazing. The house was quite cold upon arrival but quickly heated up. Although there is a washer and dryer, the dryer does not work (the response I received was that the washer and dryer are not amenities of the house). It would be nice to have extra throws/blankets. Need to bring own shampoo etc.
