Liked: Check-in, listing accuracy
Disliked: Cleanliness, location
Several things were not what was expected. Most notably was ants all over the kitchen counters and sink. And very damp towels folded in the bathroom. The towels had clearly not been dried enough and were presented as if useable for morning showers. But we came to find them wet and smelly. We didn’t have time to dry them so we had to use what we could. Finally the beds were in terrible condition that sank into the middle of the- it was a very unpleasant night sleep.

We're sorry to hear your stay didn't meet your expectations.
Because our home is in a rural setting, it's not uncommon for an occasional ant issue to arise during the warmer months. We had already placed ant traps near the window where they were entering, and the issue was resolved within a few days.
Regarding the towels, all of our towels are brand new, freshly laundered, and prepared before each guest arrives. We've never received similar feedback, so we're surprised to hear this. Had you reached out during your stay, we would have happily brought fresh towels over immediately or addressed any other concerns.
We truly want every guest to have a great experience, which is why we're always available during a stay to resolve issues as they arise. It's unfortunate that none of these concerns were brought to our attention while you were here, as each one could have been addressed quickly and easily.
Gorgeous, secluded location. Great place for some R&R. Close to Crozet and Charlottsville but also quiet and definitely off the beaten path. Cottage interior accommodations like new and cozy. Communication with host was quick and effective. Would stay again for future visits to VA! Thank you for a great stay!
We had a wonderful stay! The house was beautiful and so clean. The area is equally beautiful and so convenient to the vineyatds and Charlottesville. Thanks and we hope to be back soon!!
