We greatly enjoyed our stay! It was located near the areas we planned to visit. Owner was friendly, and the pool was great! The listing was accurate, too!
We totally enjoyed staying here. The pool is such a plus and we wnjoyed every minute here. There is a really nice Blackstone to cook on. We did breakfast and dinner on it. The propane tank was full and ready to go. The pool was super clean. On our weekend stay we drove an hour to st marys falls trail and did the 4.50 mile hike an in and out to see such a beautiful waterfall and crossed the stream 4/5 times with swimming holes. Such a sight to see. Very clean and well maintained trail. Its my 2nd time hiking this trail and would recommend it to anyone looking for something to do. Bring a towel and shoes to get wet in.

Quiet wooded area. Off the beaten path.
It was an older home, with rustic modifications. Fully functional. Main bedroom was comfortable, old furniture. The spare room had 2 very hard twin mattresses. The TV room had very uncomfortable chairs and futon to watch TV. The sitting room was more comfortable. Landlord was right next door, shared pool.

Distinct, unpleasant smell in the house.
We left a day early as it was difficult to sleep with the smell in the house. House is semi clean, needs deep cleaning and de-cluttering.
This house was exactly what we needed for this trip. Ample cozy space to spread out, a well maintained pool, a stocked kitchen for cooking, and many memories made.
Diana is a great host!
We had a very nice stay here at the cottage. Very cozy and quiet and within 30 min to Charlottesville. Host was very nice! Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet vacation. Clean and comfy stay.
We had a wonderful girls weekend at this sweet cottage. Felt just like visiting your grandmother’s house. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Access to the pool was easy. Our host was lovely. She checked in on us when we arrived and the morning we left. Great little place to escape to for a weekend.
Diana was a great host. Very responsive and attentive to our stay. The cottage is a perfect little place to get away and relax. Close to wineries and breweries for a little day trip.
We had a great stay at the cottage. We really enjoyed the pool. Diana was quick to respond to questions we had. It was a relaxing weekend with friends!
We were in the area for a wedding at Avon Hill Lodge. Diana was great communicating with us. It’s a nice space that met all our needs. We were very happy with our stay.
The cottage was very nice and clean. The kitchen was fully stocked with all cooking utensils. The cabin had DVDs, books and games. It was very lovely and cosy.
Just as described. Diana was great. Pool was awesome. House had just what we needed. You are literally minutes away from just about anything you need. We will definitely come back
The property manager checked on us as soon as we arrived, very sweet and kind. There was a lot of thought that went into making us feel at home for the two nights we were there. Great experience!
