Charming house in central Algarve in quiet highland, only 18 km to airport

A small two-story holiday home with a mini-pool, just 18 km from Faro Airport, in the mountainous countryside, with beautiful day trips and hiking trails. What guests particularly appreciate is the holiday home’s central yet quiet location. The beaches are a 20-minute drive away. The house features a large open-concept kitchen in the living room, a modern, elegant bathroom, a fireplace in the living room, a bedroom accessible via a staircase, the second, smaller bedroom (2 single beds) is accessible from the master bedroom, a garden and a terrace, and a parking space. A small swimming pool (DIY kit), 3.50 m in diameter and 0.90 m deep, is also available and invites you to take a dip. Pets are allowed. <br>Internet access via a Wi-Fi router (1 hour = 1 €) is available and will be charged based on usage (per minute)<br><br>Location and surroundings of the accommodation<br><br>The house is located 2 kilometres north of the town centre, on the outskirts of Almargens. The area is very hilly and extremely green with many trees. Many marked hiking trails invite you to go for a walk. Small reservoirs are located 4 km away. The property is easily accessible via a paved road with very little traffic. This speaks to the rural tranquility of the area. Additionally, the property is fenced and largely out of sight.<br>The central location allows you to reach the rocky Algarve to the west in just 40 minutes and Spain to the east just as quickly.<br><br>Hiking: Several marked hiking trails lead past the country house. Beautiful hiking trails through the cork oak and carob forest, featuring romantic streams and soothing silence. Small ponds invite you to sit and swim (3 km / 6 km). <br><br>Water parks: The water park is 25 kilometres away. Zoomarine is about 45 km away<br><br>Spiral staircase!: The bedrooms are on the upper floor and are accessible via a spiral staircase.
