Whistle Stop is also a short 13-minute drive from the airport. Offering the best of both worlds, the highway out of town is blocks away. Within minutes, you'll be on the road to your next Alaska adventure to Denali, Seward, Homer, etc.

The house is cute and in a very quiet neighborhood of Anchorage, which makes for a calm and relaxed stay. The interior was immaculate and the host is a great communicator, and allowed us to check out late based on our flight time. The only downside of the property is that the only restaurant within reasonable walking distance seemed to be a Mongolian bbq place a couple blocks away. I highly recommend WhistleStop.
