About this property

Log cabin retreat in the pines. Large deck with views. Fire pit!

New Listing! This 4-bedroom log cabin on a 0.85-acre lot is perfect for families or groups and has plenty of space to spread out. Nestled in the pine trees, you will be surrounded with the sound of the wind blowing through the trees on a breezy day, and have views of the mountain-tops in Rocky Mountain National Park that hint of the three serene lakes below. This location in a quiet neighborhood provides shelter from the noise of the highway, providing a peaceful, private retreat.

The large deck on the second level that wraps around to the front of the house provides several seating options. Use this comfortable space in the sun to lounge, listen to the birdsong, watch wildlife, and on a clear night, it is the perfect spot for spectacular stargazing. We invite you to use the gas fire pit and new gas grill provided. Only a few yards from the house, down the back steps, is a wood burning fire pit to enjoy.

Inside, on the upstairs level that connects to deck just off the dining room, you’ll find a living room space with a full-size couch and love seat, and a delightful wood stove. Although the wood burning stove is strictly off limits for use, it provides the perfect cabin ambiance. Central heating is provided for your comfort, and you will find a beautiful Vermont Castings gas stove available for use in the rec room on the ground floor.

The kitchen is fully stocked with all your utensil and cooking needs, including a coffee maker, tea pot, stainless steel pots and pans, and non-stick frying pans, crock pot, blender, cake pans, casserole dishes, wine glasses, serving dishes, cutlery, plates, bowls, beverage glasses, mugs, 16pc. knife block, and basic spices. The dining room table expands, if needed, to provide extra seating for your whole party.

You will also find on this level, two bedrooms and a spacious shared full shower/bath. The primary bedroom features a king-sized bed, and conveniently across from the primary bedroom you will find a second bedroom with a Amish-built twin/full log bunk bed. The spacious loft has a cozy lounge area with a comfy chair and ottoman, a small desk to use as a workspace if needed, and a large bean bag for napping or reading. The bedroom space in the loft is a favorite in the cabin, and features a beautiful queen log bed, and a small bathroom with a shower, steps away.

On the ground floor you will find a rec room with a new Joybird sofa to sink into after a day on the water or an exhilarating hike, providing a restful place to read, or gather together to play games, do puzzles, enjoy a movie, or binge your favorite show. This room features the gas stove that warms the space and creates a cozy atmosphere. A washer and dryer is available if needed, and an iron and ironing board are provided as well. Also on the ground floor is a private bedroom with a queen sized bed and a snug attached bathroom and shower. All three bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner and soap, and hair dryer for your convenience. Guest towels are provided. Extra throw blankets are provided for chilly nights. All the mattresses are brand new.

We’re excited to welcome guests soon! Please note, we are currently putting the finishing touches on the cabin, including the delivery of the sofa going into the rec room, scheduled to be delivered before the end of April. Please check back for updated photos.
