Located right in the heart of North Lake Tahoe, this Carnelian Bay vacation condo offers community amenities like a shared pool, hot tub, and tennis courts, as well as an interior with an outdoor deck. It's the perfect Tahoe retreat!



With a location just a couple of blocks from the shore of Lake Tahoe, you can easily spend time at the beach relaxing or boating out on the water! And in winter, you're only 10 miles from Northstar Resort for some of the region's best skiing.



Featuring three charming levels, the apartment features tall, slanted ceilings, a wood stove, comfortable furniture, and entertainment options including a TV and DVD player. You can fix a meal in the full kitchen or make the short walk to the Old Post Office Coffee Shop for a hearty start to your day.



At night, you'll have four bedrooms. Both adults and kids will be pleased here. There's also a washer and dryer for keeping clothes clean.

Our main issue was with the ant colony living on the lower level of the condo (primarily under the carpet in one of the bedrooms, but in the halls and bathroom), discovered almost immediately upon entry. There were other issues that were addressed soon after reaching out to management . However, after hours of back and forth regarding the ant infestation we did, finally, settle with the management and with help from VRBO we were promised and given compensation. We relocated the following morning. The management company did keep communication open, even after our departure, which we did appreciate.

Condo #41 is a dog. As a basis for our experience writing reviews our family has rented many condos in our 15 year history of traveling. First you are greeted by an almost bullet riddled door, looked like the doors on the gang infested south side of Los Angeles. Owners - paint your door, it’s the 1st thing people see. Upon entering black stained carpeting graces every single room, disgusting.2 out 4 rooms had a smell from old unclean comforters and dank carpeting. Pots and pans were corroded with ripped up teflon coatings. No washcloths provided, half the pillows had no pillowcases. 1 wine glass, 6 water glasses (2 hazy stained). The clubhouse, though inviting at 1st, had a mold/human sweat/body odor in the locker rooms, both men and women's. My wife and daughters were mortified to see a man come out of the women's sauna and say "The men's sauna is broken". Are there any good things to say about this condo? Yeh it exists. Avare management will respond quickly to messages but passed the buck off to local crony, Ben, who's "Friend" delivered us a Dollar Store tiny frying pan, 4 wine glasses and 4 beer glasses, washcloths and pillow cases. Here is the kicker, we respectfully asked Avare for compensation due to the disgusting conditions and misleading ad on VRBO and they said, "No". They felt our complaints were not worthy of compensation. But in messages they thanked us for pointing out things and had the carpet cleaned after we left. Beware of Avare and crony owner!
