Really lovely location with several bars and shops nearby, alongside a Lidl that’s a short walk away. Robin was a great communicator and prepared all details we needed prior to arrival which included how to access keys, wifi and other required information. We did arrive in the crazy heatwave and struggled with the heat but the property had a fan and standing AC unit. Room was clean, the sofa bed was comfy and easy to pull back into sofa. The property had a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer so you could really live and enjoy the space! Bathroom was so lovely and spacious, Robin provided each of us two towels each. There were instructions in the home about how to deal with waste etc which we appreciated. There’s a lovely park nearby too, the whole place is really lovely and lively. We had a fabulous and relaxing time. Terrace was fantastic and clean and we spent most of our evenings there! Would come back 100%

This apartment is located is a perfect area to explore Berlin. The metro is just at the end of the block - 3 minutes away. The apartment was very clean and spacious. Our host was very responsive to al my questions. Thank you!!

Great location!

Conveniently located near restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, and the M1 and M12 tram lines. Lots of natural light with several big windows. Washer, dryer and dishwasher definitely a plus. Owner very responsive when contacted. Older adults may be mindful that the beds are low to the floor and difficult to get out of. Nice quiet building.

Wonderful Stay

We really enjoyed our stay here. The manager was quick to answer my questions and let us know the property was ready early. The neighborhood is quiet with striking church around the corner. Convenient glass elevator. Being up high was nice. Tons of natural light with tall ceilings and a cute deck. We used the kitchen for a couple dinners, very handy. Bathroom with skylight was chic. All clean and tidy. Would stay here again.

Staying in Berlin Mitte for a Family Vacation

Great location, wonderful space, big enough for a couple with a 5 year old child. No A/C, place is getting very hot at high summer temperatures. Only one garbage can makes recycling very difficult. Only one set of keys, requires coordination within the family. A second set would make life much easier. Overall a good place to be in the center of Berlin.

The best feature of the apartment is the great location. Thee are plenty of restaurants, shops and coffee shops/bars nearby, but also a very quiet area. Close to tram and the metro. The apartment furnishings were a little dated, but clean. There is no TV, if that is important. During our stay the WiFi, went out. After contacting the owner and being quizzed on whether we had connected properly or even needed it, it was finally reset the next day. The router had to actually be reset a neighboring property. Unable to do so in the actual apartment. This was a little frustrating, but eventually was solved.

Absolutely Horrifying experience - with both the property and the obnoxious host! The apartment is seriously damaged with water and mildew in the bathroom, which makes it impossible to breathe or use this room. I wasn't able to stay there for more than a few hours, and contacted the host (who didn't respond) and then Vrbo. I left to a hotel unfortunately. Was very much looking forward to enjoying a Berlin apartment and be able to cook, but this ain't it. Besides the unbearable water damage (which the rude host has the nerve to deny hahaha, even though it's both visibly apparent and the smell is not open for debate - it hits you in the face the minute you walk in the bathroom) - the apartment is just not comfortable to stay in. It has a bunch of old stuff of the host that's unusable, not enough lighting, not enough bed pillows, and the bed is far from the wall (since the only free outlet in the room is behind) with no headboard. The key situation is also INSANE - you have to look for it in the bushes, far from the apartment, in some other street in a lockbox that doesn't open when you put the code. I had to ask a stranger to use their key to have something sharp in order to open it. The host was not responding to any of my concerns, and after I left and Vrbo contacted him he finally bothered to respond but only with insults and awful language!!!The location is good, but that's the only thing that's good, and there're plenty other options to stay at in that area.

Telalit is a liar and a credit card fraud scam artist. He paid by credit card, then tried to get a refund due to ridiculous, made up issues during his stay, which he didn't seek to get resolved -- instead, when the refund was refused by both VRBO and us, he initiated a chargeback via his credit card company. Beware of this guest, he is a thief and needs to be banned from this platform. We have informed VRBO and FeWo and the local police.

A Month in Berlin

I spent 33 nights in Berlin in October and November. Based on two short prior visits I was looking for a location near Prenzlauer Berg. This property and its amenities seemed to be a good choice although the price was somewhat higher than I generally pay. Access is provided by keys in a hidden lockbox several blocks from the apartment. The apartment is on the 5th floor (with elevator). It is located on a quiet street around the nearby church whose bells ring several times a day. There are 3 different tram stops within 4 to 6 minutes and 2 different U-bahn stations within 8-10 minutes. An Edeka market is within 5 minutes and a REWE within about 8 minutes. There are also a number of restaurants within walking distance. So it is well situated to all necessary amenities. I had several questions for the landlord and all were answered in a timely manner. There were only 2 issues with my stay. The initial posting indicated that the apartment had a washer/dryer which was important to me due to the length of my stay. When I looked at the machine it seemed to only be a washing machine. The landlord confirmed that he had to change the unit recently and failed to update the listing which was done immediately. The other was my perception from the photos showing many CDs and CD player that I would be able to enjoy a wide variety of music during my extended stay since the apartment doesn't have a television. However, the CD player didn't work. The description doesn't indicate a CD player.

Es handelte sich nicht um ein Weingut, sondern um eine Stadtwohnung in Berlin. Die Lage hoch über den Dächern mit schönem Ausblick ist das Beste an der Wohnung. Das Haus selbst gepflegt. Die Matratzen sind gut. Die sonnige Wohnung kann eine Auffrischung vertragen. Küchenmöbel abgewohnt und unansehnlich. Die Ausstattung der Küche lässt zu wünschen übrig. Gemütlicher Aufenthalt stelle ich mir anders vor. Drei Barhocker an der Arbeitsplatte und ein einziger alter Stuhl im Schlafzimmer tragen nicht dazu bei gemeinsames Essen genießen zu können. Schön sind die Topfpflanzen. Die vielen Bücher und CDs sollen wohl zur Atmosphäre beitragen. Die zwei vorhandenen Schränke sind nicht funktional, Lediglich der Rollschrank im Schlafzimmer war nutzbar zur Ablage. Das schwarzgestrichene Duschbad ist Geschmacksache. Ein Hocker und etwas mehr an Haken wäre von Vorteil. Der Balkon mit seiner Bepflanzung lieblos, da verdorrt. Im Treppenhaus durch den zerschlissenen Sisalteppich besteht an der obersten Stufe erhöhte Sturzgefahr. Der Preis für diese Wohnung im jetzigen Zustand finde ich nicht angemessen.

Sehr schöne Wohnung, insbesondere die Lage ist super, sowohl in Bezug auf Berlin als auch auf die Aussicht vom Balkon. Gute Küchenausstattung vorhanden.Leichte Schwächen in Ausstattung und Service, z.B. kein Fernseher, Stereoanlage funktioniert nicht, nur 2 Handtücher für 1 Woche, nicht sehr sauber.Aber es hat uns gefallen, man schläft sehr gut dort, es ist ruhig und man hat einen schönen Rückzugsort.

Eine Enttäuschung

Beginnen wir mit dem Positiven: Schnitt der Wohnung, Balkon, Blick, Lage, Deko-Gegenstände, Bilder, Anbindung an öffentliche Verkehrsmittel sind sehr gut. Aufgrund der Beschreibung und des Preises hatten wir aber definitiv einen anderen Standard erwartet. Das angekündigte schicke schwarze Bad roch sehr stark und übel nach Abfluss, was nach unserer Beanstandung etwas besser war, aber immer noch unangenehm. Wenn man versehentlich die Badtür aufgelassen hatte, roch die gesamte Wohnung danach. Das Bad wirkt heruntergekommen mit unappetitlichen Schmutzecken, die Glühlampe in der Lampe über dem Waschbecken war defekt und damit war alles ziemlich dunkel, wurde nach Beanstandung ausgetauscht.Insgesamt ist die Möblierung sehr einfach und in die Jahre gekommen, die Kopfkissen simpelst, das Sofa verfleckt, weshalb es mit einem Stoff abgedeckt ist, statt es zu ersetzen. In der Küche findet sich eine ungeordnete Sammlung von Geschirr, Besteck und Kochgeschirr. Einige Töpfe sind nicht benutzbar, da nicht induktionsfähig. Man hat den Eindruck, dass man alles dort gelassen hat, was man selbst nicht mehr brauchen kann. Die Arbeitsplatte, die auch Esstisch ist, ist abgenutzt und fleckig.Die Kommunikation war sehr schlecht: Wi erfuhren nicht, wann jemand in unsere Wohnung kommen sollte, um die Beanstandungen zu korrigieren; Einchecken war sehr schwierig, der Besitzer erklärt sich als nicht zuständig, eine Anna sei verantwortlich,Schlüssel befindet sich an anderem, schwer zu findenden Ort etc

Anja war ein äusserst schwieriger Gast. Sie rief mich an ihrem Anreisetag vom Flughafen aus an und beschwerte sich in einem unangenehmen Tonfall, dass sie keinerlei Informationen zu ihrer Buchung hätte. Obwohl sie unsere Begrüssungsmail am Tag ihrer Buchung nachweislich über FeWo erhalten hatte, bestritt sie dies vehement und meldete sich dann auf Nachfragen, ob denn nun alles in Ordnung sei auch nicht mehr. Anja kann oder will offenbar einfach nicht lesen, weder Begrüssungs-mails noch Textnachrichten. Die Küchenarbeitsplatte wurde erst letzes Jahr neu mit einem hochwertigen Mineralbeton überzogen. Ja, Beton hat eine fleckige Optik, das kann man mögen oder eben nicht. Die Kalkablagerungen im Bad auf den schwarzen Fliesen durch das harte Berliner Wasser sind ein Problem was nicht ganz einfach zu lösen ist, dem wir uns aber annehmen werden. Das Problem mit dem Geruch aus den Rohrbelüftern im Bad ist behoben.

Die Lage der Wohnung ist perfekt für Sightseeing. Mit den Öffis kann man überall hin. Die Sauberkeit des Bades (Kalk) könnte besser sein. Die Ausstattung war okay. Die Musikanlage war ohne Funktion des CD Players. Die Ausstattung der Küche ist gut.

Mehr Schein als Sein - keineswegs empfehlenswert!

Wir hatten uns sehr auf unser Mädelswochenende in Berlin gefreut und die Wohnung hauptsächlich wegen der Dachterrasse gemietet. Der erste Eindruck war zunächst akzeptabel – bis wir genauer hinsahen: verschmutzte Badezimmerarmaturen, ein fremdes Haargummi auf dem Waschbecken, schmutzige Gläser in der Spülmaschine, Flecken auf Teppichen, Sofa und Kissen sowie offene Getränke im Kühlschrank. Für den gezahlten Preis hätten wir definitiv einen höheren Standard erwartet. Nach einem Sturm in der ersten Nacht wurde der Rollladen der Terrasse aus der Verankerung gedrückt, wodurch wir diese nicht mehr nutzen konnten. Trotz sofortiger Kontaktaufnahme mit dem Vermieter erhielten wir keinerlei Rückmeldung. Auch der angebliche Notfallkontakt war das ganze Wochenende nicht erreichbar. Wir hinterließen mehrfach Nachrichten, doch niemand meldete sich! Zwar war der Schaden durch den Sturm verursacht, doch es ist unverständlich, dass sich tagelang niemand bei uns meldete. Kein Versuch wurde unternommen, den Schaden zu beheben, was uns sehr verärgerte. Bis heute haben wir weder eine Entschuldigung noch eine Entschädigung erhalten. Stattdessen kamen unfreundliche Nachrichten, weil wir die City Tax von 23 € als „Entschädigung“ einbehalten haben. Zudem ist die Wohnung für vier Erwachsene ungeeignet: Zwei müssen auf der Couch oder einer Matratze auf dem Boden schlafen. Die Lage war in Ordnung, jedoch weit von den zentralen Sehenswürdigkeiten entfernt.
