About this property
Escape to Grace 3BR2BA
A fully renovated 1920s cottage in Wilmington`s Soda Pop District — three true bedrooms, two baths, and coastal-traditional style throughout. Relax on the welcoming front porch or unwind in the fully fenced back yard. Walk to downtown`s Riverwalk, shops, and restaurants; a short drive to Wrightsville Beach, UNCW, and Wilmington International Airport (ILM). Escape to Grace is your home base for exploring the Port City.
Escape to Grace is a fully renovated 1920s cottage with a thoughtfully updated floor plan. Original cottage character — wood floors, cozy proportions, and period details — pairs with a coastal-traditional interior: soft, breezy color palettes, natural textures, and classic furnishings that feel polished without being fussy.
Living & Dining
An open living and dining area anchors the home, styled in a coastal-traditional palette with comfortable, classic seating — a relaxed, elevated space to gather as a group before heading out to explore the neighborhood.
Kitchen
A fully equipped kitchen with updated appliances and ample counter space makes it easy to cook a full meal or just grab coffee or tea before your day.
Bedrooms
Bedroom 1 configuration: queen bed
Bedroom 2 configuration: queen bed
Bedroom 3 configuration: one twin, one full. A pack n play is available in the closet for guests traveling with an infant or toddler.
Bathrooms
Two full bathrooms. Also, an outdoor shower to accommodate the sand when coming back from the beach!
Outdoor Space
Escape to Grace offers outdoor space both front and back. Out front, a welcoming porch invites you to slow down with a morning coffee or evening drink and watch the neighborhood go by. Out back, guests enjoy a fully fenced yard — private, secure, and ideal for morning coffee, evening wind-down, or letting the group spread out. The fenced perimeter gives added peace of mind for families and anyone traveling with pets.
Entire house
Escape to Grace is a self-check-in property, so you`ll have the cottage entirely to yourself. I manage the property remotely and am easily reachable by message throughout your stay for questions, recommendations, or anything you need — I respond quickly. I like giving guests privacy and independence, while making sure help is always available if you need it.
Named for the 1930s Coca-Cola bottling plant that once anchored Princess Street, this district fell quiet for decades before two local developers revived it starting in 2015. The 74,000-square-foot former bottling plant is now Coca-Cola Bottle Works, a maker space and warehouse home to small local businesses. Today it’s one of Wilmington’s fastest-growing neighborhoods — coffee, breweries, boutiques, and Jengo’s Playhouse cinema, all walkable from the house.
This is a residential neighborhood, so we ask all guests to be respectful of our neighbors. No parties, events, or large gatherings are permitted at any time.
