Frank's place stands as an unforgettable Berlin experience. The gorgeous and luxurious apartment is located right in the heart of Schöneberg, a storied neighborhood of (West) Berlin. You can walk through a beautiful neighborhood which includes the Luisen Park, a beautiful late 19th century park, to continue on to the Nollendorfplatz U-Bahn (subway) station. On the way, you can experience one of Berlin's awesome gayborhoods, which includes shops, restaurants, ice cream shops, clubs, bars, and cafes. Pro tip: The French bakery right around the corner. The apartment is located between two close hopping/dining zones, one by the Pragerplatz and one on the way to Nollendorfplatz. There are great restaurants, grocery stores, and delicatessen shops in both zonesThe apartment is huge for German standards; it also very luxurious and very clean. I loved the coffee machine. The terrace was amazing; it's the perfect place to relax after a full day in Berlin. The bathrooms are amazing and luxurious as well. One bathroom even has one of the most awesome features ever: a urinal.Frank was an amazing host. He welcomed us with prosecco and chocolate. Our host met us at check-in and took the time to explain the features of this wonderful apartment; he also allowed us to arrange a late check-out. He also has an engaging biography well connected to Berlin and its history. If you want a solid Berlin experience, especially if you're LGBTQ, this apartment would be a very good choice.
