Our approximately 55 m² holiday apartment on the upper floor is located in Westerbur, a quiet area of Dornumersiel on the East Frisian North Sea coast. This family-friendly location is perfect for rest and relaxation. Fresh milk and eggs can be purchased directly from the farm.
Away from the hustle and bustle of the big city and everyday life, in the state-recognized North Sea coastal resort of “Westerbur,” we offer you a holiday featuring swimming and beach life in the salt- and iodine-rich waters of the North Sea. The nearby North Sea resort of Dornumersiel is a small town with a beautiful fishing harbour. Since 1990, it has featured a [square metres] sandy beach. This sluice town is one of the oldest ports on the East Frisian coast.
The town features a heated outdoor seawater pool. The islands of Baltrum and Langeoog are clearly visible.
An inland lake (the Mahlbusen) and a sluice gate add to the town’s appeal. Among other things, you’ll find:
a spa centre, a spa doctor, shopping, ATMs, restaurants, the Reethaus with a reading room, lecture hall, and table tennis area, as well as the children’s playhouse with rotating events for all ages.

Wir (zwei Erwachsene und zwei Kinder) haben einen Kurzurlaub in der Ferienwohnung "Mühlenblick" von Familie Klose verbracht. Die Unterkunft war wie im Online-Auftritt beschrieben und ausgestattet. Alles war super sauber und es hat nichts gefehlt. Sowohl beim Check-In, der Kommunikation während des Aufenthalts und beim Check-Out hat alles einwandfrei funktioniert. Die Vermieter wohnen im Erdgeschoss, sodass eine direkte Verbindung besteht. Familie Klose ist sehr herzlich, hilfsbereit und man fühlt sich gut aufgehoben. Das Haus liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe von einem kleinen Spielplatz, was es für Familien mit Kind nochmals ein Stück attraktiver macht. Die Fahrzeit zum Strand Dornumersiel beträgt ca. 5 Autominuten und zum Strand Bensersiel ca. 10 Minuten. Beide Strände sind mit Spielplätzen ausgestattet und man kann ordentlich buddeln und bei Ebbe im Watt wandern. Der Urlaub war für uns wirklich super und wir würden immer wieder zu Familie Klose in eine der beiden Ferienwohnungen kommen!
