Beautiful Views!

We were very impressed with our recent stay to this condo in Perdido Key! The floor-to-ceiling windows provided incredible, sweeping views of the beach. Perfect location and a quick elevator ride down to the beach or pool. Because of the corner location of the condo, we were able to still enjoy all of our meals on the balcony (with those amazing views) even though the winds were strong a few nights. Lots of space inside with nice, big bedrooms for all of us to enjoy. We would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend it to anyone looking! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Stunning views from amazing wrap-around deck and living area. Spent most of our time on the deck. Would have loved a couple of lounge chairs to relax in but the awesome deck and views more than made up for it. The living area was nicely appointed with comfortable furniture and views from all seating areas. Might recommend updating the dining room and living room ceiling fixtures. Kitchen was a little dark and cave-like due mostly to poor lighting. Undercounter lighting would have helped a lot. Master bedroom was incredibly spacious as was the bath. Would recommend adding grip bars or non slip substance to floor of shower. My 87 yo mother fared well, but we had a couple of near mishaps with nothing for her to grab on to. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend carpet be replaced or removed in the 3 secondary bedrooms - most especially the one across hall from kitchen. Carpet was horribly stained and had overall filthy appearance so much so that we would walk barefoot in the common areas of the building but not on the carpet. The laundry room had a stench like a fumes from a sewer but we just kept the door closed and minimized our time in there. Even given the negatives, would probably rent this one again because it was so spacious, and the pros outweighed the cons. Great location for getting around the area - fresh fish market right over the bridge and fantastic restaurant (The Salty Pearl) over there as well.

It is a nice facility and the staff at the condo are very friendly and helpful. The internet service was terrible, on and off. I think they need to move the router to the common area or do something to boost the service.

Great Family/Couples Condo

This place was huge and well designed for privacy. Having 4 bedrooms and 4.5 baths accommodated our needs extremely well. It does however need some updating. Style is very old but has been well taken care of. I do beach travel frequently and have never stayed anywhere that has the quantity of outdoor furniture.

This was our fourth year to enjoy the same condo at the La Playa. The condo is spacious and has a wonderful floor plan. It rained some Sun.-Thurs. but we enjoyed the beach each day. Friday's weather was perfect. Parking is an issue at the La Playa for us since our family travels in three cars. The off site parking is ok but not ideal. It would be nice if the owners would replace the master mattress and the balcony furniture. We have been to Perdido 16 years consecutive years. Now that we need four bedrooms it is likely we will book this condo again.

Very spacious condo with a huge wrap around patio and a beautiful view up and down the coastline.

The accommodations were great. We stayed the last week before school was out for most children so it wasn't as crowded and the condo was cheaper. The condo was clean, updated and plenty big for our party of seven. The kitchen had a good resource for different types of cooking pans, utensils and even plastic ware for storage. It is located next to public beach access. However, they had security on the beach to keep the public off of the condo's private beach area. We had maybe two families close to us the entire week. We rented lounge chairs and umbrellas. ($120/ week for two chairs and one umbrella.) The beach was very clean and we saw no sharks or any other unwanted creatures. (Lots of sea shells, sand dollars and night crabs though.) Security was excellent as they have restricted access to all areas of the property. They have a small gym that we utilized with TV and great views of the outside and pool area. They also have cabinets full of all types of books by the gym that you can read and return prior to check-out. This was nice for my granddaughter since she forgot to bring reading material. The only negatives I have are: the dryer took a very, very long time to dry clothes even with a clean filter; there wasn't USB cables on all of the DVD's in each bedroom; there wasn't the same range of TV channels in each bedroom. (We didn't watch a lot of TV though.) This is a four bedroom condo and they only allow space for one vehicle. They have other parking available close by for a cheap price. The area is built up nicely and plenty of good restaurants close by. We usually rent a place in Orange Beach but this was so nice, we would readily stay here again.

Luxurious Facilities with a View

In February you can see the sun rise out of the water in the morning and return to the water in the evening. It is a beautiful sight with the blue gulf and white sand beaches in the foreground. The unit is spacious and decorated in good taste. We rented from Luxury Coastal Vacations whose main office is close by. They were very responsive to all requests for help with small problems that did occur and always with personnel that were pleasant and anxious to please. We hope to return next year.
