The house, which is approximately 40 square metres in size, features a bright, cosy kitchen-living room, a spacious bedroom, and a bathroom decorated with mosaic tiles. The many windows offer a wonderful view of the surrounding hills and let in plenty of light. All windows are equipped with roller shutters. The house offers enough space for 3 adults or for 2 adults with 2 small children. Two sleeping spots are in the bedroom (a 1.60-meter double bed), and another is in the antique iron bed (1.20 metres wide) located in the kitchen-diner. A cot can also be provided upon request. The custom-built wood-burning stove keeps the house warm for 12 hours in winter. Outside, there are two terraces and a portable pool. Both indoors and outdoors, there are plenty of play options and toys for (young) children.<br>High-speed Wi-Fi is available free of charge and without limits. Built in 2023, the house captivates with its traditional, regionally characteristic elements and antique furniture. The interior design emphasises regional character. The kitchen is equipped with an induction stove and a dishwasher. Surroundings: The holiday home is located in the quiet, hilly hinterland of the Algarve, about a 5-minute drive north of the small town of São Brás de Alportel. The house is situated on the outskirts of the village of Tareja, right at the entrance to the Serra de Caldeirão, which is ideal for hiking. Shopping and restaurants are a 5-minute drive away. The location is ideal for exploring the Algarve in all its diversity. A variety of beaches are within a 20- to 30-minute drive. These include the wide sandy beaches on the offshore islands, the “Ria Formosa” nature reserve, and the rocky beaches of the Algarve near Albufeira. Coastal towns such as Fuseta, Tavira, and Olhão are also worth a visit. Inland, you can discover authentic little towns like Loulé and Silves. Faro, the cultural heart of the Algarve, and its airport are just 20 minutes away. Day trips to the Western Algarve around Lagos, to the west coast, and even to Spain (45 minutes) are possible.
