Studio #2 Fully Equipped with Boardwalk Patio Access - Oceanfront!

The Candelore Family is happy to offer a studio apartment with Boardwalk Patio privileges. The studio has a full kitchen area with table and chairs. The bathroom has a shower/tub combination. Note that the apartment is not directly on the beach and does not have a direct view to the ocean. With the front door open, there is an oblique view to the boardwalk, and the main living area side window has a distant view to the ocean. The shared patio is on the boardwalk, but not the unit itself. The unit is upstairs towards the rear of the property. The upstairs is light and bright and the window blinds may be left open as it is difficult for people to see in.

PLEASE READ AND AGREE BEFORE INQUIRING: The unit is suitable for 2 adults (a couple possibly with one infant or small child - 5 years old or younger). There is no access to the patio for non-guests. Due to the small shared area of the patio available to the studio, no one can be invited to come to the patio. For the health of our guests, no smoking of any kind is allowed inside the unit. We are serious: offenders will be fined and reported to the platform.

The studio has only recently become available.

The house and 3 studio units were built by my grandfather and has been in the family for over 70 years - 3 generations! We are looking to maintain the house as family friendly vacation rental with repeat guests. Many have spoken to and delt with Mildred over the years. Now, Brant is helping with the management.

We speak French and Spanish with some fluency. International guests are welcome.

Why they chose this property

We have enjoyed spending family time here over the years. We hope that you will have many memorable times here as well! Mission Beach has the most accessible and best beach in all of San Diego. It is 4 1/2 miles long! There is an ocean as well as bay side. The boardwalk is terrific for walking, skating or biking. Did you know that surf fishing is pretty good right out-front of the house?

What makes this property unique

PATIO: Guests can enjoy sitting on a patio that fronts to the boardwalk and ocean. We offer a gas firepit that guest may enjoy. Many rental units in the price range do not have this!

PARKING: Since the property is at El Carmel, it is strategically located to take advantage of on and off-street parking. El Carmel point offers extra off-street parking where cars may be parked overnight. The studio has 1 off-street parking for a smaller vehicle right off the alley. Please see parking picture. We are centrally located - walking distance to Belmont Amusement Park (to the South) and Crystal Pier (to the North).

VIEWS FROM STUDIO: The unit has 5 windows - one in the bathroom, 2 in the kitchen, and 2 in the main living area. The bathroom window and one of the kitchen windows faces to the rear (toward Mission Bay) and does not really offer any type of water view, but they higher up and overlook the community. The ocean views from the living area side window and the kitchen side window are more distant. The main living area window towards the ocean looks over the courtyard and the roof of the front house. With the door open, there is a more distant side view to ocean. As the unit is upstairs ... you may open the blinds and no one can see in. With the windows open, there are nice cross breezes.
