The Bungalow is ESPECIALLY great for those who love SEAFOOD, wine-tasting and ACTIVITIES, like: SURFING, BOATING, FISHING, KAYAKING, WIND-SURFING, PADDLE-BOARDING, KITE-FLYING, CLAM-DIGGING, HIKING, HORSEBACK RIDING....AND, more!

Or...just RELAX. Sit on the beach with a glass of Sonoma County WINE from your complimentary bottle. Walk your DOG on the beach or one of many great trails near the Bungalow. Or...curl up with a movie while you listen to the sound of the fog horn and waves breaking at Doran Park.

ACTIVITIES GALORE:

There are at least 4 GREAT (dog-friendly) restaurants and with outside seating and shops within walking distance. Go whale watching, crabbing or fishing on a charter boat (charters are 2 blocks away from the Bungalow).

Rent a kayak. Just walk out the front door of the Bungalow and in two minutes--reach the bay where you can get into your kayak and paddle around the bay to watch the sea lions, otters and many, many, many bird species.

Or, rent a horse and go on a trail ride through the cypress trees and sand dunes, or ride to the top of "Eagle View" and see the edge of the continent, or take a BEACH ride along the edge of the waves.

Or, go into the town of Bodega and see the "schoolhouse" and church where Alfred Hitchcock filmed scenes shown in "The Birds" movie (available to watch later in your Bungalow). Have a great burger at the Casino and browse the galleries and gift shops in this quaint little town.

Doggie owners can romp at the newly created, off-leash dog-park beach at Doran Park, or head up to Goat Rock and Blind beach (off-leash) for a long walk, followed by a picnic with a bottle of great wine and crab sandwiches.

Bayside Bungalow is a cozy 1 bedroom duplex perfect for a single, couple or parents with small children. The bedroom has black-out drapes, a very comfortable, queen-sized, memory-foam mattress, and 99% of our guests LOVE it (there are folding sleeping mats for children).

There's a combined living room/kitchen with a big, soft loveseat, lots of pillows, and throws to cuddle up in. The kitchen is fully equipped (pots/pans/dishes, utensils, spices, etc.,) with a dishwasher, refrigerator, stovetop range, microwave, Mr. Coffee pot, toaster and toaster oven. There's DIRECTV in the front room and bedroom. The bathroom has complimentary hygiene supplies, a tub, shower and ample supply of towels, extra towels (and "dog" towels).

Oh, and you'll notice lots of original oil and watercolor paintings on the walls done by the owner and friends (they're for sale...).

The bottom line? Our guests RETURN and refer their friends and family!
