Bright and spacious home with hot tub! Minutes from skiing!
This large 2,800 square foot, two-story mountain home backs up to the beautiful Blue River wetlands. Enjoy the open views of Pacific Peak and Crystal Peak from this family retreat. Lodge pole pines, quaking aspens, willow bushes and other native foliage surround the home and provide the ultimate backdrop while not blocking views of the Tenmile range. The wetlands attract various mountain wildlife, such as the neighborhood moose.
Inside the home, you will enjoy two open living areas, each with its own fireplace and flat screen television. The modern amenities in the kitchen, such as granite countertops and a gas stovetop, compliment the alpine wood craftsmanship. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything needed to cook for a crowd. The kitchen, which seats 10 people at the counter and table, opens to the bright and comfortable family room.
The dining room, which seats an additional 8 people, opens to the vaulted ceilings and large windows in the living room. The living room and family room can be separated by glass French doors, to allow kids to play games in the family room, while the adults enjoy a game of cards in the living room and dining room.
The four bedrooms are all on the second floor. The large master bedroom features a king bed, flat screen TV, large walk-in closet and a beautiful en suite bathroom.
Two additional bedrooms both have queen beds. The final bedroom is perfect for kids, with two sets of bunk beds, for a total of four twin beds. There is also a second full bath, which has a separated shower and large counter and vanity.
Enjoy the fresh air and mountain views while relaxing on the deck. Gaze at the millions of stars from the Arctic Spa hot tub.
We also provide wireless internet and cable television. Guests may use the two car garage or the driveway for parking. Parking is limited to a total of four cars at the property.
Whether you’re coming to Breckenridge to enjoy world class skiing and mountain adventures or simply need a place to relax and get away, this will be your perfect vacation home!

Excellent place to rent. Close to Breckenridge with easy access to fishing on the blue river. Hosts were great. The house was clean and beautiful. We would definitely rent here again.
The place is so much bigger than the photos show. It was perfect for our family. I love the location - out in the woods but 10 min from skiing. We will stay again.
The location was excellent for our hiking trip. The home was nice with a well equipped kitchen and was suited for a large family or multi family group. We enjoyed being close to Breckenridge but in a quiet more secluded atmosphere.
Wonderful trip and a great property. Owners decorated for Xmas, which was a pleasant surprise.Warm and cozy home with everything listed. Owners very receptive and communicative. Easy arrival and departure.

Fun family friendly home
We stayed here for the 4th on July holiday. Eleven of us, five being kids, all felt comfy. A wonderful place to stay when all the crowds are in town. Hot tub was a nice place to star gaze. Not recommend home if traveling with all adults, not enough bathroom space.
Very comfortable, plenty of room, with lots of amenities. Loved the hot tub and fireplace (with a supply of firewood). The view from the property is great. We even saw a couple of moose stroll by in the back yard. The location is great, out of the bustle of downtown Breckenridge, but only a 5 minute drive away and walking distance to the free bus to town.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness
Family stay
Area was nice and secluded. House was not clean. Dog hair everywhere (couch, carpet). We ran vacuum ourselves for first day. Under any furniture or beds was not clean. Frequently found spiders (in folded towels, etc).
Not sure if poor property manager or the house isn’t used that often. Been to Breck a lot and will go back…just not here.

I am so sorry to hear this. I wish you had reached out to us during your stay, as we would have addressed this concern immediately and worked to remedy it. We pride ourselves in the cleanliness of our home and in the nine years we've used this cleaning crew, this is the first complaint we've received. We have reached out to our cleaning service and have worked out a plan to address this moving forward. Thank you for bringing it to our attention.
Vacation home is in a great location was in great condition and met all of our family needs for a vacation rental. Only minor complaint is that the small kitchen appliances need an upgrade - Keurig did not work , toaster had seen better days et.al.
This was a wonderful vacation property. The owners included very detailed information and thought of everything to make the stay comfortable. They even provided humidifiers for every room since the air is so dry. We thoroughly enjoyed the many amenities provided as well as the surrounding area of Breckenridge.
Guven the proximity to Breckenridge and key hiking trails, this home offers tremendous value relative to staying in Breckenridge. The home met all of our needs and previous reviews were spot on. The owners have made this home welcoming and accomodating and your stay will be a great experience!
The house was perfect for 4 adults and 4 kids (6-10yo). The kids could play in one living room, close the doors to separate the space, and the adults could carry on a real conversation in the other living room! There was more than enough space to spread out and the hot tub was another highlight. The kids loved that they would open another door and they'd find more new toys to play with! Very well equipped kitchen too. We loved our stay.
Had a little trouble figuring out all the remotes for the TV but owner walked us through. Loved seeing the moose, fox and deer in the backyard. Home is spacious...all bedrooms are upstairs and if you have a full house, there is only one small bath upstairs besides the one attached to the master bedroom. On the whole, we were happy!
The property was amazing! Our family had a wonderful time and everything about the house was perfect
Our family will definitely return again! The house is beautiful and has all of the amenities of home. The hot tub after skiing was the perfect end to the day.
The property is a wonderful size. We especially liked the two family rooms, so we could spread out. Kitchen is well stocked so it was easy to stay in for meals.
We LOVED staying at this beautiful home. Very comfortable and felt like home. Nancy, the owner, was always friendly and attentive to everything we needed. We hope to come back next winter to enjoy its charms again.
Nancy and Greg's house was beautiful and they were very accommodating with anything we needed. Check-in and check-out processes were very simple and explained in detail. House was super close to Breckenridge, but still felt tucked away in the woods. The hot tub was a great touch after long days on the mountain. Would definitely rent this house again if I come back to Breckenridge with a large group.
This mountain home is a great find. Just 4 miles from downtown Breckenridge but far enough out to feel secluded. The home is very well equipped for anything you could need and very cozy. I would definitely rent this property again!
Everything was just as we had hoped, based on the listing. All the amenities of home in an idyllic setting. I was especially pleased to find a bluetooth speaker, as I had forgotten mine. We had a great stay.

Awesome Ski Weekend With Friends - In Style
Greg & Nancy's beautiful mountain home was the perfect getaway for our group of three couples. The bright and warm layout, with high-end amenities and finishes was accentuated by rustic features, like exposed log accents and stone fireplace hearths. We all appreciated the large bedrooms & bathrooms and the spacious living/eating areas and FULLY-equipped kitchen. The large hot-tub was a welcome treat for ski-weary muscles. BTW - The snow conditions at Breck were AWESOME! We took advantage of an easy 10-minute commute each day to the Gondola lot downtown and were on Peak 7 10 minutes later...can you say easy? The garage is a boon to those weary of sweeping/scraping snow & ice off the car. There really are too many plusses to list - suffice it to say, it was like picking up our own home and plucking it down in the mountains. We'll be back!

About the host
Hosted by Nancy and Greg Zuercher
Greg, a native Chicagoan, moved out to Breckenridge in 1994 after graduating from Michigan State University. Growing up skiing in the Midwest, Greg had the love for the sport, but had never experienced mountain living until he moved out to Colorado. After settling in Denver in 2004, Greg met Nancy, a Colorado native from Black Forest. Nancy graduated from University of Northern Colorado and received her Master’s Degree from University of Denver in 2008. We got married in 2008 and our first son, Charlie, was born in 2009 while Emmett followed in 2011. We reside full time in Greenwood Village, Colorado
Why they chose this property
We have been renting homes in Breckenridge for 10 years with the last six years specifically renting in the Blue River area. We would rent homes with friends and family and as everyone’s families started to grow, the size of the homes and proximity to town drew us to Blue River. Being able to drive five minutes out of town to a more serene environment drew us to this neighborhood.
What makes this property unique
As our family grew and the young boys started to ski, we started to look at properties in Blue River. After almost a year of looking, we were ready to make an offer after our first visit to this home. Walking into the home and seeing the wood craftsmanship was certainly inviting, but after walking into the kitchen and family room and seeing the views of the wetlands and peaks on the Tenmile range, we were sold. The home is polar opposite to our modern-eclectic home in Greenwood Village. The wood mantels above both fireplaces, exposed wood support beams, railings, and trim is something that gives us the feel of a real mountain escape. Another important aspect is the floor plan, as we wanted all the bedrooms to be in the same area. With years of renting homes in the past, there was always a certain amount of discomfort when the young children were sleeping on separate floors from the parent. Also, the ability for some to stay up late and not bother the others sleeping is certainly nice rather than having bedrooms on the main living area or below the living area where it would keep people up. Lastly, the two living areas and fireplaces are important. Being able to have kids congregate in one area, with adults in another is a bonus.
