A Delightful Stay

Stayed for an extended weekend with Family to attend a wedding nearby. The house was so very comfortable and great value for the money. The hosts were very nice and accommodating

Beautiful hideaway

A beautiful and well appointed cottage surrounded by unspoilt countryside. Perfect for nature lovers and those who wish to have a break from hectic city life. The cottage is tastefully furnished and had all the facilities we needed for our 16-night stay, including washing machine, ironing board and a good assortment of kitchen utensils. Alain and Martine, the owners, who occupy the adjacent house, were delightful and Alain gave us many useful tips on what to see in the area and to best restaurants to choose for a memorable lunch or dinner.

Family Week away

A lovely property in beautiful surroundings. Had to travel quite far to reach some of our attractions but lots to see around the area. Hosts were pleasant and helpful. It was very hot and we could have done with another fan in the bedroom.

Live like god in France

This house is everything you need for a dreamful time in France. All is very nice and cosy. The view is amazing. No street- or other sounds disturbs this beautiful nature. The house is the perfect place to starts much adventures to special places and citys. It is not far to lovely cities like Perigueux or Bordeaux. Alain and his wife are so nice. They are direct neighbors, which, however, always respect the privacy! All in all, everything was perfect. Highly recommended :)

Lovely stay

We stayed 2 weeks in this beautiful authentic house. Everything you need to feel at home is present. The view from the terrace is superb and the only thing you hear are the sounds of nature. A short drive ( 10 km) brings you to Neuvic where you can find a large supermarket (Intermarché) We cycled parts of ‘ la voie verte’ a beautiful cycling track, easy to bike because it is mostly flat terrain. A helpful map about la voie verte is given in the tourist office in Neuvic. The owners Martine and Alain, who live in a house near the rental house, are very discrete and helpful if you need anything. A wonderful address that we warmely recommend. Ilse from Belgium

A lovely spot for Xmas

A very pretty comfortable house situated in a quiet corner on a hill with a lovely view, surrounded by woods and farmland. We were contacted in advance by the proprietor to ascertain the time of our arrival and were delighted to arrive to a warm welcome, a fire blazing in the hearth and even a decorated sapin. Alain and Martine ensured we felt at home and were anxious to know if anything was required in the way of kitchen equipment. The kitchen was very well equipped but when we did ask whether a more unusual item could be borrowed, it was provided immediately. The house was warm and comfortable throughout. As it faces south, on sunny days we were able to eat out on the patio, even though it was winter. The nearby village of Villamblard has a good bakery, a Spar grocery shop and we would recommend a visit to the Clovis Reymond distillery. Not surprisingly the district is very quiet in winter but drives to St Astier and Monbazillac and the market at Vergt are worthwhile. We could have stayed forever and will certainly try to return. Het is een plek waar wij ons meteen thuis voelen. Liefdevol ingericht en werkelijk alles voorhanden wat je nodig hebt. Behulpzame tips van de hartelijke eigenaars over wat er in de omgeving het bezoeken waard is.

Ein schönes Haus in einem Garten so groß und gestaltet wie ein Park. Mitten im Grün des Perigord, zwischen Bergerac und Perigueux. Die Gastgeber im Haupthaus zurückhaltend, aber mit einigen guten Ratschlägen.

We hebben een heerlijke vakantie in de Dordogne gehad met name ook dankzij dit geweldige huis: een oase van rust, met mooi uitzicht en privacy. Het huis is erg goed in gericht en heeft veel ruimte, met buiten een fijn en ruim terras, twee lounge stoelen en twee ligstoelen om lekker te zonnen in de ruime tuin. Of lekker eten aan de grote tafel buiten onder de luifel, genietend van het uitzicht. Een fijne keuken en badkamer maken dit huis helemaal af. En wie liefhebber is van sterren kijken, de donkerte maakt dat de sterrenhemel hier een magnifiek schouwspel wordt, met genoeg vallende sterren te bewonderen. Kortom dit huis is echt een aanrader, we hebben geweldig genoten. Dank ook aan Alain en Martine, die ons het verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk hebben gemaakt.

Maison au calme avec vue magnifique

Le gite est très bien agencé, avec toutes les commodités nécessaires pour passer un excellent séjour, y compris avec des enfants. La propriété est au calme avec uniquement le brut des oiseaux et une vue magnifique sur un vallon verdoyant. Les hôtes sont très agréables et nous ont fourni des renseignements très intéressants pour profiter de la région.

Heerlijk!

Ruim, charmant huis met een mooie tuin. Alle benodigde voorzieningen zijn aanwezig om een zeer prettig verblijf te kunnen hebben. De landelijke omgeving is over het algemeen zeer rustig. Wij waren er in oktober tijdens de oogsttijd van een lokale notenboerderij. Dat gaf gedurende een aantal dagen wat lawaai en is storend wanneer je de hele dag thuis zou willen doorbrengen. De eigenaren zijn zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam en hebben ons een paar goede tips gegeven over de bezienswaardigheden in de Périgord. Een aanrader!

Quel endroit unique!

On ne trouve presque nulle part ailleurs un tel silence. Parfois, on entend le roucoulement apaisant d'un pigeon, un chien qui aboie au loin ou le gazouillis des oiseaux... la nature ! Nous avons passé un merveilleux moment dans cette maison. Outre l'environnement relaxant, la maison était très propre et parfaitement équipée. Alain et Martine sont très accueillants et nous ont donné d'excellents conseils sur les endroits à visiter. Tout était très agréable. Chaque fois que nous avions une question ou une demande, ils répondaient immédiatement. Et en même temps, ils ont pleinement respecté notre vie privée. La maison est entièrement à vous. Fortement recommandé si vous appréciez un emplacement central à proximité de Périgueux, des grottes de Lascaux (à voir absolument), de Sarlat, et de bien d'autres endroits en Dordogne.

Vacances de rêve chez Martine et Alain

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour dans un écrin de verdure et un environnement on ne peut plus calme Une vue splendide une maison décorée avec beaucoup de goût et avec tout le nécessaire requis. Alain et Martine, nos hôtes sont discrets, très serviables et de très bons conseils pour visiter la Dordogne. Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir !!!! Très sympathique

Moments très agréables passés au sein de cette propriété. Les hôtes sont à proximité si besoin (merci d’ailleurs pour le dépannage qui m’a été très utile niveau professionnel). Communication très facile avec ces derniers qui sont très chaleureux. Je recommande cette location très bien située à proximité de Périgueux et Bergerac.

Au mileu des arbres

Très bon accueil des propriétaires voisins et discrets. Le logement est très bien équipé, décoré avec goût, situé dans un environnement calme, silencieux et reposant avec un jardin entouré de bois. Sa situation permet de découvrir les richesses de cette partie du Périgord : villes, villages, spécificités de la région,.. Idéalement située, confortable et calme

Nous avons passé une semaine ressourçante dans ce gîte très bien équipé et au calme. Sa situation permet de rayonner facilement dans la région pour découvrir les plaisirs de la Dordogne (visites, canoës) mais également pour parcourir les nombreux sentiers de randonnées.

Jolie maison dans un decor soigné

Landhaus in wunderschöner Landschaft

Das Haus liegt wunderbar ruhig in einem schön gepflegten Garten und ist bestens ausgestattet. Das Gastgeber Ehepaar war sehr freundlich und stets hilfsbereit. Wir haben jeden Morgen das Frühstück auf der sonnigen Terrasse mit Blick ins Grüne genossen und hatten einen entspannten Urlaub. Gerne kommen wir mal wieder für einen längeren Aufenthalt. Es gibt noch so viel zu entdecken in dieser schönen Gegend.
