Wonderful and bright charming, renovated, and with a lot of charm

This high mountain chalet from the 18th century offers a modern renovation that has respected the building original style. It has a sought-after decoration, a mountain spirit, all the comforts, and authenticity. The chalet has been constantly published (magazines, decoration sites, and television programs). It has a south-facing location: bright from sunrise to sunset. There are 2 terraces with a wonderful view over the plains and the mountains. It is very quiet, in the middle of nature, 10 min away from the Diablerets station. There is a good transport connection to the Villars station. The chalet is 30 min away from Gstaad and Montreux. We offer a flexible rental for using 2 or 3 bedrooms (different rate). The minimum stay is 1 week. The chalet with a permanent moderate temperature is heated by Minérgie standard, using geothermal energy and a heating pump. There is a double-oriented fireplace between the living room and dining room, creating a magic atmosphere. In all seasons, sporty and non-sporty people can enjoy all the facilities located nearby. The region offers a large variety of activities. There are interesting places for children and adults. The owners will share with their clients all the good plans and addresses.

Beautiful Chalet

Sehr schönes Charlier, perfekt und gemütlich ausgestattet. Tolle Gastgeber, die an alles denken .man benötigt ein Auto um Wanderwege, beziehungsweise das Skigebiet zu erreichen. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen.

Einzigartiges Haus in einer bezaubernden Landschaft

Es war wie versprochen ein einzigartig renoviertes Holzchalet (selbstverständlich inclusive Knarren der Dielen und gewisser Hellhörigkeit). WC, Duschen, Küche waren sauber und zeitgemäß, Betten und Kissen bequem. Die Aussichten, der Nachthimmel und die liebevoll gestaltete Einrichtung waren traumhaft

Lieu magnifique et très confortable, tout était à la fois beau et pratique.

C’est un endroit de grande beauté, à la fois solitaire et proche de tout. La maison est très bien organisée, tout est à disposition pour rendre un séjour confortable et agréable. A la fois simple et très sophistiqué. La position du chalet est magnifique et les vues par toutes les fenêtres si belles. Un lieu unique et une propriétaire charmante, disponible et prête à aider. Nous étions gâtés.

Une carte postale dans les montagnes suisses. Magique! Zenitude à 2 pas de la station

Un chalet comme dans un magazine de déco à l'atmosphère chaleureuse et reposante. Vue extraordinaire à 180 degrés. Calme et proche des commodités. Les propriétaires sont disponibles et partagent leurs bons plans. Nous reviendrons en hiver absolument et sommes tentés par une expérience estivale.

Magnifique chalet

Nous avons passé une semaine de rêve dans ce magnifique chalet. La literie est de très bonne qualité, les sanitaires impeccables. La cuisine est fonctionnelle et nous avons regretté l'absence d'un réchaud et caquelon à fondue , même si les bonnes adresses pour manger une fondue ne manquent pas au village ... Son emplacement est idéal pour de belles balades et le village des Diablerets est très agréable.

Chalet war toll mit allem drum und dran, heimelig. Aussenplätze sind super morgens und abends, voll sonnenbeschienen. Die Strasse ist morgens leider recht befahren:-(

Très belles vacances d'été au calme

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié notre séjour dans le chalet de Catherine, qui correspond tout à fait à la description qui en est faite (ah, tout de même attention pour les grands comme moi, ces vieux chalets n'étaient pas élevés, à part dans le salon, pensez à baisser la tête :-)). Le chalet est décoré avec goût et est très agréable à vivre, se trouve à l'écart sur une petite route, ce que l'on recherchait, mais pas très éloigné des Diablerets (moins de 10' en voiture, et pour les courageux, 80m de dénivelée jusqu'à l'arrêt du train). Pour ne rien gâcher, Catherine reste toujours très disponible pour vous aider en cas de soucis, échanges faciles et agréables. Nous avons bien apprécié les Diablerets, petite station de montagne où il n'y a pas la foule mais où on peut prévoir de multiples activités. Et pour les randonnées, il y a l'embarras du choix même si trouver un vallon totalement déserté et sauvage est difficile : nous sommes en Suisse, et les suisses sont trop attachés à leurs montagnes pour que vous ne rencontriez personne durant une rando :-) !

One of a kind

We have spent a perfect week in this cozy, charm full, beautifully decorated chalet with a real spirit. We enjoyed the music available, the open fire, the practical kitchen, the views, the two terraces (sun in the morning on the first one and sun in the afternoon on the other one) and the beautiful surroundings "of the road". The village Les Diablerets has his authentic charm (not too touristic) and plenty possibilities for a perfect ski holiday (Glacier 3000/Les Diablerets/ Vers l’Eglise).

C est effectivement un splendide chalet , une deco très raffinée , une belle ambiance de montagne !

Un endroit idéal situé à qql km des pistes . Tout a été très bien pensé pour des vacances d hiver comme d été . Je recommande ce chalet au cœur des montagnes pour des moments inoubliables en famille ou entre amis ... Félicitations aux propriétaires !!

We stayed for 6 weeks, a mix of holidays and work (my workplace is 1 h drive away). W hiked cool places within a few minutes drive; I wrote research projects on a terrasse with a peaceful view; but overall we enjoyed the mix of tradition and modern style inside the chalet. Tout est fait pour vous permettre de vous reposer et de profiter de la Suisse et de ses bienfaits: un lieu à couper le souffle et une vue à plus de 180 ° sur les sommets, un chalet remarquable, adorable, comme on l'imagine avec un niveau de prestations de très haut niveau sans oublier la proximité des pistes de ski ou de Gstaad, Montreux, Vevey, ... Une détox pour notre quotidien... Sans oublier les propriétaires qui sont des personnes de gout et d'une très grande gentillesse. Nous y reviendrons avec un grand plaisir.

Ein Bijou abseits vom Rummel

Das Chalet ist ein wunderbarer Ort um vom Alltag abzuschalten. Die Ruhe und das Ambiente im Haus ist sensationell! Wir waren begeistert von der Austattung und dem Komfort. Alles ist sehr liebevoll dekoriert und mit viel Geschmack ausgewählt. Wer dies zu schätzen weis, ist an dem Ort gut aufgehoben. Die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind sehr gut und die Gegend bietet viele Möglichkeiten für Skifahrer und Wanderer.

Chalet authentique, revisité avec confort moderne, superbe emplacement, propriétaires diligents

Un chalet d'antan, réorganisé aux besoins de la vie d'aujourd'hui, pour voyageurs de passage exigeants, tant dans la praticité que dans la qualité des matériaux employés. L'endroit est habilement réarrangé, chaque petit espace a été optimisé. Certes, il faut faire parfois un peu attention car certains passages sont un peu exigus, mais tout cela est en rapport avec le chalet d'origine agricole, qu'un large séjour en plafond cathédrale vient compenser cette impression succincte. Le chalet donne sur une vallée impressionnante, une vue qui donne vers le lointain, aux gré des couleurs changeantes selon les aléas de la montagne. Deux belles baies vitrées donnent un joli spectacle vice versa, tandis qu'une autre ouverture quadrille le versant avec un arbre sinueux, habilement pensé si bien qu'on croirait à un tableau. Des éléments de montagne, patins et skis, cloches et couvertures de l'armée suisse viennent donner une petite note du passé. Trois biches sont venu matin et soir brouter à une douzaine de mètres du chalet, ce qui prouve sa tranquillité. Une impression de calme, de beauté naturelle, une quiétude de l'intérieur pour apprécier le dehors. Et des propriétaires très accueillants, attentifs et courtois. Ce qui est plutôt agréable. Et rare.

Fantastique chalet dans un environnement calme

Nous avons passé une semaine en famille dans ce fantastique chalet, l architecture est soignée et moderne, fidèle aux photos et tout est très bien penseé pour un séjour inoubliable. Les propriétaires ont tout fait pour rendre cette location facile et souple. Bien qu il faille une voiture pour descendre aux Diablerets centre , c est très rapide et pas vraiment un inconvénient car en contre partie, le chalet bénéficie d une magnifique vue sur la campagne environnante et un grand jardin pour les enfants. Encore merci !

Absolutely Fabulous!

Our stay here was fantastic! The chalet is even nicer than the pictures. There are so many neat details in the decoration to be enjoyed. The amenities are all very high end and modern, while at the same time there are really interesting antiques providing loads of character. The owner was extremely helpful and easy to reach for any needs during our stay. We definitely hope to be back!

Perfektes Refugium für Erholung und Genuss

Wir konnten unseren Augen nicht trauen, als wir das perfekt und respektvoll renovierte Chalet erstmals öffneten und betraten; es war noch viel schöner, als die Bilder, die wir dazu gesehen hatten. Jedes Detail stimmt und passt; alles praktisch und unkompliziert platziert und eingerichtet. Ein sinnlicher Ort, stilvoll und aktuell restauriert und unterhalten. Eine fantastische Umgebung mitten in den Waadtländer Alpen, ideal für Wanderungen und Ausflüge im farbigen Herbst. Wir kommen bald wieder! Fam. Hubli Hofer, Sursee

Le petit chalet de rêve sur un chemin serpenté

Juste avant les Diablerets, et le hameau au joli et innatendu nom de "vers l'église", un petit chemin s'envole sur la gauche dans la montagne vers l'adorable chalet "cosy" de Madame et Monsieur Holinger. Son apparence extérieure préservée comme à son origine à la discrétion suisse d'usage qui ne laisse pas encore présager son charme intérieur, où le propriétaire architecte a su merveilleusement optimiser l'espace . Vous trouverez tout dans cet écrin, il ne manque rien du confort espéré, tant pour profiter des terrasses que de l'intérieur chaleureux. Une mention particulière aux fenêtres accolées qui laissent apparaître le paysage comme 4 tableaux différents. Bref nous avons adorés, et ne saurions trop vous conseiller de l'essayer pour l'adopter sauf aux périodes où nous comptons revenir !

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with the property. The renovation of this small farmhouse from the 18th century was a challenge. We did not want to change its wonderful aspect. We created larger spaces and employed local artisans. Families, friends, and clients will feel like home. During winter, alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, skiing trips, and snowshoes. In the summer, you will enjoy the mountain biking trips and many musical and tourist activities for children and adults.

What makes this property unique

The chalet has been published many times (TV, magazines, and decoration sites). The renovation has been carried out by architects respecting the original style of the chalet. It offers a wonderful view, a unique calm, and a "unique location in the world." It is very close to the station and there is a parking space in the chalet
