The house is right in the centre of this charming, quiet village with vineyard views but Carcassonne, Narbonne and beaches are less than an hour's drive.

Pouzols Minervois is 5 minutes from the Canal du Midi and 40 mins drive to Carcassonne and Mediterranean beaches. Local activities include hiking, wine tasting (owners are winemakers and would be delighted to arrange a private tasting for you), cycling, visiting beautiful Cathar villages such as Minerve, olive oil mill. Outdoor swimming pool in next village is open July/August but also river swimming in Bize Minervois and Minerve. Owners can provide tips on where to go and good restaurants etc
