From the railway station, the lift goes directly up to the pedestrian street: the house is 200 metres away. Apartment with sea view and view of the village of Riomaggiore, consisting of an open-plan living room with kitchen and long terrace. Air-conditioned rooms: double bedroom with walk-in wardrobe, twin bedroom, cot, bathroom with shower and washing machine. Wi-Fi. Heating. 3rd floor.

Completely renovated in 2018, it is very bright and the many windows make it pleasantly habitable. A sliding wall completely separates the kitchen from the living room if necessary. Single sofa bed in the living room.

Cristina’s Apartment is amazing. Every bit of what you would expect from the photos. No hidden surprises other than the view. It’s something you just have to see in person. The apartment is very comfortable with all the needed essentials including a fully stocked kitchen. Communication is quick and the checkin process was clear and easy to follow. We highly recommend this Cristina’s Apartment!At the risk of stating the obvious, if you are planning your first trip to Cinque Terre, beware of the stairs. Each of the five villages are built on steep hills and there is no avoiding the endless amount of stairs and hill climbing. Good knees, a good back, and a fair level of fitness will go a long way in making your visit perfect.

Our family of 4 loved Cristina’s apartment in Riomaggiore! The location was amazing and we had plenty of room for my 2 teen boys. We would highly recommend this location, as it was very convenient with the elevator near the train station.

Gorgeous views over Riomaggiore from this cheerful, sunny aerie.

This is a clean and tidy flat, nicely appointed for a couple or a small family. It's located above the central part of town (which mean the views are spectacular), but it's still a relatively easy climb up from the main square. A small balcony overlooks the town and provides a nice view of the glittering Meditteranean. Very relaxing place to stay.

Cristina has a wonderful apartment in Riomaggiore. It is a very nice town not too busy not too quiet. Always somewhere to eat and somewhere to drink but not overcrowded. The apartment itself is quite stunning and you will not tire of the view, easy easy access to all of the other terre - everything you could wish for and Cristina is most helpful. Absolutely perfect!

Even lovelier than the photos! Our family of four stayed in this delightful property this summer -- our third recent visit to Cinque Terre. The second bedroom was ideal for our two teen daughters, the master a lovely retreat. The comforts of home (i.e. washing machine, dishwasher, and well-equipped kitchen) were much appreciated. The property was very clean, the balcony overlooking Riomaggiore and the sea, a lovely spot for meals. We can't wait to return! Thank you Christina and Luca for assisting us with our reservation needs and being so prompt to respond to any questions. Five-stars!

Steps!

Small apartment that had all basic needs. Just big enough for two couples. Hot water was an issue. Read the guide very thoroughly…finally got hot water after turning the instant hot water tank to the highest setting. Wanted to walk on “lovers lane” but needed the welcome pass with barcode that was provided only when we asked for it. The view was very very nice. Beds are a bit hard but comfortable. Entrance gate did not lock but had to go through two locked doors so it felt secure. Small refrigerator and freezer but andequate and very limited ice. You stay here for location and view.

Unfortunate choice

Anyone traveling to Riomaggiore should be aware that carrying anything but a small roll on is a trauma. The height and stairs make it impossible to travel with more than that. Upon arriving at the apartment there was a deluge of water and cleaning supplies at the front door. Once inside the apartment we found ants in the kitchen as well as hair in the shower. If nothing else you expect the apartment to be cleaned and inspected. We were charged $25.00 a night to park our car in the garage but the remote to allow access in and out was not working. If you are charging for a service it’s imperative to confirm all items are in working order and clean. Unfortunately we will not be back.

Our favorite stay in Europe

We love this apartment! Our family of five, including two teen girls, 17 & 15, and a boy, 12, are backpacking Europe for a month. Riomaggiore is stop ten enroute so we have a few apartment experiences for comparison. This one is brand new with lovely decor and appliances and the best view! Our return trip after twenty years away revealed a busier, more touristic village, but high up above the main road, you will be isolated from the noise...except when Italy plays Spain in the Euro Cup and the whole village roars! We're soccer fans and found this collective cheering charming and fun. Mostly though, this apartment is a quiet, lovely, light filled space. The San Giovanni piazza to the left of your balcony is a gathering spot in the evening for kids playing soccer and neighbors chatting. To the right is a restful sea view and everywhere are delightful tiny lanes to explore. We dropped into this wonderful life for four beautiful days. We shopped locally for homemade pasta and sauce for at home meals and cheese, prosciutto & olive anti-pasta plates. We also walked down into town for some excellent sea food. "Rio" is a great home base for seeing the other villages as well. We hiked through Corniglia and Vernazza, swam in Manarola's deep harbor pools, and had a beach day in Monterroso, taking the big boat back "home." The apartment is spacious enough for our family and we were very comfortable with the layout. So who would not enjoy this apartment? It would not be the best choice if you have limited mobility. There are many steep stairs up from the village and inside the apartment building itself. Also, it is a breezy space with two floor to ceiling windows and fresh sea air, but no a/c. We found it comfortable, but others might not. Overall, we found a rental that is new, immaculate, and well equipped (we learned how to use an Italian coffee maker!) We used the clothes washer and just about every thing else provided. Cristina is very efficient with communication and we had no trouble locating the apartment and letting ourselves in. This one is a winner! We hope others enjoy this space as much as we did. We will be back!

Perfect spot and perfect amenities!

We had an amazing stay in Riomaggiore! The location was perfect for us (easy access to the action but also easy to remove yourself from it!) Including an amazing view from the balcony where we had wine every night and watched the moon rise. Having a parking spot was even more important than we knew going into this trip so we were thankful to have it (and also a washing machine). There is no AC but the blinds and fans did a great job keeping the place cool enough for us at night. We did have a slight issue with the water heater but there were clear instructions on how to rectify the situation and it worked! We couldn’t have asked for a nicer stay. Thank you!

I was born and I live in this wonderful area of Italy, where Riomaggiore is one of the most important villages of the Ligurian coast and of the Cinque Terre.

What makes this property unique

An easy place, strategic, out of herds!
The upper side of the village is very calm, above all during high season, but far and close to everithing (shops, restaurants, cafe, paths, train station or car parking) in few steps, with a special seaview. It is fantastic to seat o the balcony looking at the colours of the sky and sea changing during the day, or the village life staring from above. Get out on San Giovanni piazza, a short walk and arrive in Via Cristoforo Colombo, the main road for shops, taking down to the marina, to the ferry boat stop and to the beach.
The apartmen is very compfortable, all new. The open space sitting room and kitchen give on the double balcony, then the double bedroom with its dress cabin, the 2 single beds room and a large shower room. WiFi, TV, washing mashine, hoven and dishwasher are there.
