THE PROPERTY

Walk down a private brick and cobblestone drive to reach this beautiful in-town home. It has all the conveniences of a first class resort. It is a five minute walk to shops and restaurants on Main Street. The large bluestone terrace in back includes a large table with umbrella, lounge chairs, Weber gas grill, professional landscaping, and complete privacy.

Just steps from the main living area, large patio doors provide easy access for outdoor entertaining. The interior is furnished with decorator fabrics, antiques, and a dining table expands to seat 12. The open living room area with large TV, connects to a gourmet kitchen with all amenities. A separate powder room is adjacent to the main living room. The house has two bedroom suites on separate floors; one with king bed, an ensuite bath with large glass shower, freedtanding tub and double vanity; the other with queen bed and separate sitting room, ensuite bath with combined tub and shower. Two additional bedrooms share a bathroom, one has a queen bed and the other has two double beds. A loft room has a large TV and couches, great for movies or second TV area. There is a pullout couch here.

The separate cottage just a few steps way has one upstairs bedroom with 2 twins, first floor bath with shower and TV room with queen sofa bed.
In total this property has 5+ bedrooms, 4 1/2 baths and has central AC. A large enclosed outdoor shower is also a plus. There is private parking for 3 cars.
It is great for large families, multi-generational groups and two families sharing a house. It is a rare combination in-town with great indoor space and a private, country-like setting outdoors.

Great house in a great location

The place was very nice worked well for our group. Candace the owner was next door and checked in periodically to see if we needed anything. Plenty of parking for our cars send bikes. Besides the great bedrooms and house layout (which you can easily see in the photos), there was also tons of beach gear, etc to make out say more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend.

Nantucket reunion

Very comfortable lodging for 7 adults & 2 children. Several dinners easily prepared in kitchen. One negative, kitchen very disorganized with a lot of unnecessary “stuff” in drawers. Owner extremely responsive and she actually babysat our grandkids one evening . Enjoyable stay.

We would definitely stay here again!

We have been renting homes in Nantucket for over 20 years and this is one of the best. Usually we sacrifice size for proximity to town, but this house had both. Comfortable, clean, spacious and the most completely stocked kitchen I've ever seen in a rental. The homeowner was super responsive and happy to answer questions (and lives nearby if there is a problem...which there wasn't). Five stars for this home.

Dream home and location

We could not have asked for a more beautiful, well-appointed home. Our friend group of girlfriends in our early 30s had a excellent time here, and we loved taking advantage of the 10 minute walk to town, outdoor space, grill, and wonderful kitchen. We hired a private chef for the evening, and she actually commented how great the kitchen was! Photos do not do this place justice… highly, highly recommend!

Why they chose this property

This house is in a great location, and has the advantage of being very near town yet a private patio and 'tucked away' feeling. The private parking can accommodate several cars, and the roof walk has a great view.

What makes this property unique

The cottage, which is part of the property, has two twin beds upstairs and a queen sofa bed on the first floor, perfect for the Nanny, teenagers or your brother in-law. :) The queen bedroom in the main house has a small adjacent room (not shown) with a sofa bed which is perfect for a child or baby in a crib who needs to be near their parents room.
