We have one Penthouse covering the 2nd story, up a flight of stairs, nestled in the trees, with a small verandah to hang out on, right off the park. Great for romantic getaways, family's and groups of four! My place is close to Moffat - which is equal distance between Alamosa and Salida. It is the launch pad to the fun things to do out here in the middle of no-where. You’ll love my place because of the views, the location, the people, the ambiance, and the outdoors space.

We are a tourist destination for the great hiking (all levels), as well as many spiritual retreat centers, peace, quiet and beauty. We can be a sleepy town with many smatterings of Fun. There are several hot springs 30-40 mins away, as well as the Great Sand Dunes, alligator park and UFO park.
The Penthouse is the top floor. I have the easiest check in possible! I give you a combination to get in, so check in is on your own timing. There should be no other need to have contact unless you like it! Myself or my manager are open to meeting all my guests needs/questions. However, unless they come to me - I give them total space, peace and quiet! Checking out is simple. All you do is leave! If you have any questions or problems - please call or text.
The views are awesome in town, majestic and unique with the ever changing and beautiful lighting. We have a unique town - full of spiritual retreats and outrageous hiking for all levels. It is fairly quiet - yet we do have fun for such a sleepy little town. There is also horse riding a few miles away. It's the perfect location in the park in town and walking distance to all shops.
Town is a few blocks big - walking is the best public transport! While you can walk to anything in downtown Crestone this is a very remote area without public transportation so you do need a vehicle.
Crestone is one of the most beautiful places to be for hiking and spiritual adventures! There are many hikes with 14,000 ft peaks and for all levels. Also, the peaceful majestic beauty attracts folks from all over the world that come to attend one of the many retreats at the dozen or so spiritual centers. A few miles away are horse riding/stables. 30-45 minutes away are Joyful Journey Hot Springs - famous for it's healing waters. Also there is the most magnificent Valley View Hot Springs - focused outdoors with incredibly beautiful vistas. It is clothing optional. Both offer massages.

This was a spontaneous trip the girls Ages 8 & 3, plus me as mom, stayed for 3 nights in crestone! The VRBO was comfy and spacious with great lighting, a big bathtub, and kitchenette. We saw dear walking through the snow below, it was peaceful and quiet. Would recommend!
This room is gorgeous and had everything we needed for our 3-night stay. Across the street from a market, pub, and coffee shop. Perfect base from which to explore the Sand Dunes, Buena Vista, Salida, etc. The bed is enormous! Thank you and we’ll be back!

Clean + Luxurious
Ava was super easy to work with and very quick to respond. The penthouse is clean and luxurious and conveniently located in the heart of the San Luis Valley. I would highly recommend this rental for a couple or small family. Looking forward to visiting again.

I don't always meet my guests - but found Leslie super easy and efficient to work with. She left the place wonderful and I;d be delighted if she were to return.
Crestone is a very small town near some of the most spectacular scenery in Colorado. Our stay in the Penthouse at Bliss Inn was clean, well appointed, and roomy. We loved our little balcony. Everything is within a couple of blocks. Speedy response from property manager.
The accommodations were fantastic. The communication was stellar, we asked if we could check in earlier and they let us, which was terrific. We stayed the weekend of June 22. The only recommendation I have (which has nothing to do with the place we stayed) the mosquitos were insane. Make sure you’re prepared for that.
We stayed two nights on a trip to the Sand dunes… It was centrally located in Crestone, convenient to the market and coffee shop. Would stay here again. Not fancy, perfect for a Nice peaceful getaway. Beautiful views, you can’t beat Crestone. Be mindful there are stairs and grass to walk-through upon arrival. We very much enjoyed our time there. The vaulted ceilings are nice and makes it feel bigger. Suggestion: a bit of shelving in the bathroom (maybe where the towels are stored) would be a nice addition. Lovely, lovely getaway.
Great, friendly, quaint neighborhood. The studio is very roomy and the king bed was super comfortable. The pullout sofa provided the much needed space for the kids. The room came with coffee and sugar. The grocery store across the street was convenient for getting any condiments, food.
Note that there is neither an oven nor a microwave. The pots and pans were limited, but was sufficient for our stay. Overall no major complaints and the calmness of the town added value points for everything.
The high score on the reviews led us to believe this would be a fun place to stay, but it was even better than we expected. Photos don't do justice to how roomy the penthouse feels inside. Also, there's a park right at the bottom of the stairs for dog walking AND it even has a poop bag station in case you forget yours. And, finally, not only is the bed is super comfortable, but so are the pillows. I'm super picky about pillows, so I always travel with my own. But I needn't have bothered staying here :=) We will definitely be back!!!!!!
Lovely place close to grocery store, coffee, cute shops and a pub. Very walkable town. Close drive to the dunes! Drawbacks were food prep. Didn’t pay much attention when arrived and picked up
A pizza and frozen appetizers at the grocery store. Got back to unit only to discover no oven and no microwave. We cooked pizza in a frying pan. I would strongly suggest adding a microwave and a guest handbook with suggestions on where to eat and other businesses to visit. Also there is no AC. I was worried about this at first as I get VERY hot when I sleep but things cooled off nicely at night and I slept well. Very quiet nights. Over all great place in this very unique town. Loved the pub and coffee shop.
Room dirty from prior users. Told somone had used code to sneak into room for free night. I asked for code to be updated, and owner refused. I didn't feel my belongings were safe when I left for the day. Room was "cleaned" before I moved in for the weekend. But the place had layers of grime from inadequate cleaning, I'm guessing for at least a year -- grime, uncleaned stickly floors and debris filled corners, thick dust and cobwebs on EVERYTHING. A broken vase and glass left on the floor. Toilet seat broken. Dried food on utencils. Black stains on couch & chair. Just grime. I did not want to touch anything. I treated the stay as if I was in a campground. I told the manager about it and they did nothing. No cleaning. No discount. The Blliss retraunt downstairs was just as dirty, and service was super friendly, but chaotic. Everyone was super nice, but I was not comfortable in a dirty apartment. Not pleased that there was no attempt to cure the issue.
We were able to easily go anywhere in town without a car. Getting to the sand dunes was further than I thought because of construction. Only negative was no a/c. We would definitely stay here again.
The property was immaculate.and beautifully decorated. Tub/shower is large and enjoyable. Appointed with like new fixtures.and.furnishings
The setting in the park was wonderful and had a.nice balcony to enjoy the setting.
Stayed at Crestone before visiting Sand Dunes. We absolutely loved the town, the park, the stores, and the people. Host was so nice. Would love to come back and visit again. Created wonderful memories. Thank you!!!
The place was convenient. It is located right on/in the city park, so the day had the park noise, but did quiet down. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable.
