WE HAVE MADE MANY WONDERFUL MEMORIES AND WE ARE READY TO SHARE THIS EXPERIENCE WITH OTHERS. THIS IS A PERFECT COTTAGE FOR A SMALL FAMILY BUT WILL ALSO ACCOMMODATE UP TO 6 PEOPLE. THE SEALE SHACK FEATURES 2 BEDROOMS AND 2 BATHROOMS. MASTER HAS ITS OWN PRIVATE BATHROOM AND QUEEN SIZE BED. SECOND BEDROOM IS SET UP WITH BUNK STYLE DOUBLE SLEEPER ON BOTTOM AND SINGLE ON TOP, THERE IS ALSO A SINGLE SLEEPER TRUNDLE PULL OUT. EACH BEDROOM IS SET UP WITH THEIR OWN TV'S /INDIVIDUALLY CONTROLLED AC AND HEATING UNITS . DINNER SEATING FOR ENTIRE FAMILY. LAUNDRY LOCATED INSIDE JUST OFF THE KITCHEN. Such a great home! Being that close to the beach with my family was so ideal. The home was stocked so nicely with all you needed. Linda was also so wonderful and always quick to respond. We will absolutely stay here again!

Cottage at the beach

This cottage style home was perfect, Owner is meticulous with her property, and you will see this with all the extras she provides, Location is only steps away from beach and you can people watch from porch. Our family enjoyed our vacation.

We absolutely loved staying here! It was the best location — close to the beach, close to lots of restaurants, across the street from a coffee shop… everything! We would definitely stay here again and I would recommend this place to anyone!

Best cottage ever!

This was our second time staying here and I can't think of one thing that we would change. The decor, the area, proximity to the beach. Mattresses and couch are super comfy, everything is well stocked. It's fabulous and we will definitely be back!

Seale shack review

We had a wonderful time at this property! It was berry in a great location-close to the beach and restaurants, stores, etc. it was very clean and charming. The host was so helpful and kind. We would definitely stay here again.

EXCELLENT! BEST PLACE IN MISSION BEACH!

We typically stay in Mission Beach a couple times each year and have stayed at many different places. This is by far the cleanest and most convenient place we have stayed! Everything about this cottage was perfect! Linda, the owner, is very communicative and obviously takes great pride in making sure that everything is in order for her guests. Everything was right on site for us to use: beach gear, bikes, toiletries, towels. We have yet to stay at the same place in Mission Beach twice, but that's about to change! Can't say enough good things about this cottage! Stay here if you can!!!!!

Fantastic Beach House!

Our family had a great time staying at the Seale Shack! The house is in a perfect location, just steps to the beach, and comes fully stocked with everything needed for a wonderful beach vacation. The house was very well kept, very clean, and in great condition. Linda was an awesome host and responded quickly to any messages. It was very obvious that Linda takes pride in this home and wants her guests to feel welcome and have a wonderful time. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend the Seale Shack to anyone looking for a great place to stay. Thanks, Linda!

Outstanding Beach Vacation

Clean, beautiful, classic beach property. Ideally located steps from the fabulous Mission Beach and a short walk to the bay. Stocked with anything you can imagine: 8 bikes, 8 paddle/surf boards, 8 wet suits, 8 boogie boards, as well as skate boards, tennis rackets, beach chairs, games, etc. One of the best parts is the front deck, with outdoor speakers, chairs, tables, umbrellas, grill, etc. When we weren't busy with the many activities available along the boardwalk or the downtown gas lamp district, we enjoyed chatting with passers by and just hanging out listening to great music.

One word... "Perfect."

The Seale Shack was perfect for our family vacation. The owners have thought of everything. There are beach chairs, boogie boards, bikes and more! Super clean, comfortable, and a perfect location. Our kids were so sad to leave. It was perfect for the short drives to the San Diego Zoo, USS Midway, Seaport Village, Sea World, Coronado Island, La Jolla, etc... You can walk to Belmont Park, and the sports center on the bay (where we rented a jet board and played tennis one morning). So much to do (i.e. surf lessons!) and don't forget to add in some "beach" days. We stayed 5 nights but could have easily stayed longer. We will be back!

Best Place for our Family of 4

WOW! Hard to summarize how awesome of a time our family had and how wonderful everyone felt about the Seale Shack. LOCATION: The location cant be beat. There are several rentals all along Mission Beach, but this is by far the best. Very close to walk to a few restaurants, but extremely quiet and peaceful at night. No worries about city and bar noise here. There is even a beach rental place within in a block in case the garage doesn't have something you need. BEACH: Very easy barefoot walk to the beach! The garage has everything you will need. My girls enjoyed the boogie boards and sand toys. My oldest and I walked to the cheap rentals place to rent wetsuits and was very easy. The beach location here is great with soft sand and decent sized waves for beginners/novices. HOUSE: It is just as cute as the pictures to quote my 4 year old. Having the separate AC units in the rooms was a massive plus for us. It is nice that the bunkbed room is at the back of the house, so you can put kiddos to bed and stay up a little later without disturbing them. House had DIRECTV and WIFI...you know...the necessities. The kitchen had quite a bit of items like spices, coffee filters, sugar, etc, so make sure you look before you head to the grocery store to stock up! Beds were comfy and rooms were quiet! Linda was very nice to deal with and answered all of our questions promptly. We will definitely be returning. I travel quite a bit for work and also for pleasure with family and this is the first place we have all felt this strongly about returning to. Thanks Linda for opening up this great beach house to us!

This is was our 2nd straight year staying here. Linda is great - very easy to work with, quick to respond leading up to and during our stay. Her home is fully stocked from what you need in the kitchen to what you would want to hang out on the beach with your family. The location is amazing. The bakery right across from her home has amazing cinnamon rolls and sticky buns! We’ve already booked her place for next summer. Would definitely recommend her home for couples or for families - great for young kids (she has all the beach toys) but also older kids. She has surf boards and boogie boards which was perfect for my teenagers.

Perfect cottage at the Beach

Lovely cottage at the beach, our short stay was made easy with beach toys available for our two and half yr grandchild, all amenities close by. Our host was easy to contact and helpful. Would love to spend longer there next time:)

AMAZING Beach Cottage!!

My family and I (including our 11 and 13 year old daughters) have been coming every summer for the past 5 or 6 years to Mission Beach for a week and have stayed in a different home every time. This home is by far our favorite place thus far! Linda has made this cottage very cozy and has thought of all of the little details that her guests would need. Her garage is filled with beach toys, plenty of bikes, boogie boards, umbrellas and chairs (the list goes on!). Her kitchen is the most well stocked kitchen I’ve ever had in a rental. She was also fantastic with communicating before and during our entire stay. The location is great (steps away from the beach) and we absolutely loved eating all of our meals and just relaxing on the front patio. We would absolutely love to come back and stay at the Seale Shack again!

Summer family vacation
