Holiday Cottage El Pedregal:
The property has had various owners but has always remained an agricultural and cattle farm. Refurbished in 1997 into two rural properties: Holiday cottage German and Holiday cottage El Pedregal; each one is independent and has its own private pool. Holiday cottage Pedregal has a superficie of 80 m2 and is one floor.



Holiday cottage El Pedregal is situated in the village of Valsequillo which is 500 m above sea level. Holiday cottage El Pedregal is located in a large 10,000m2 estate of vineyards which dates back to the 19th century, the time of famous wines.



This typical Canarian town is situated in the central oriental town in the island of Gran Canaria. Interesting places to visit: the Church of San Miguel, The Cuartel del Colmenar which has been declared of much cultural interest by the Canarian Government.







Valsequillo has many places of natural beauty such as: the Caldera de Tenteniguada with its castles, the Barranco de los Cernícalos that travels from La Caldera to Lomo Magullo.







The "La fiesta del almendro en flor" is a very important festival in Valsequillo.

Sra Paqui was very helpful and accommodating when we were delayed by over 2 hours in our arrival.The house has a lot of character and charm, but is in need of maintenance to bring it up to standard.The house is supposed to have heating but the heating controls were locked inside a box and two mobile propane heaters were provided for heat. I would describe the property as having heaters, not heating.

Wir waren nun schon zum zweiten Mal über die Weihnachtstage dort. Auch wenn die Unterkunft etwas höher gelegen ist, und dadurch etwas frischer, so sind doch die Wandergebiete von dort aus sehr gut erreichbar, was uns sehr wichtig war. Für die kühlen Abende stehen Gasheizungen bereit. Das Haus biete ausreichend Platz und ist sehr ruhig gelegen, man sieht niemanden und ist völlig ungestört. Was die Küchenausstattung anbelangt so gibt es hier Verbesserungsbedarf, was uns aber nicht abhalten würde, dort wieder einen Urlaub zu verbringen.s

Schöner Urlaub in den Bergen

In absolut ruhiger Lage inmitten der Natur liegt dieses Ferienhaus. Die Ausstattung entspricht dem üblichen Standard. Leider war der Safe nicht zu gebrauchen, sonst wäre uns eine unliebsame Überraschung erspart geblieben.
