Great location, good space for 5

We enjoyed our stay at Swan Lake Lodge. There was a couple of small items missing from the kitchen that would have been useful : slotted spoon/potato peeler and corkscrew. The tumble dryer element of the washing machine doesn’t work which wasn’t ideal as we had a number of rainy days. The view is lovely and the apartment is spacious . The owner was easily and quickly contacted when we didn’t have the WiFi code. All in all it was a good choice and we very much enjoyed our week.

Cleanliness

The location of the accommodation was wonderful, we experienced wonderful weather which added to the relaxing atmosphere. We were very disappointed in the cleanliness of the establishment and failure to check that all plugs etc worked prior to the new guests moving in for their stay. To have to ring on a Sunday to make a complaint which was noted prior to us moving in is very sloppy. I do accept that the response to our complaint was immediate however it should not have occurred in the first instance. Downstairs shower room actually had cobwebs in the shower (top left hand back corner). Not what you would expect to see. We were told upon arrival that new cleaners were being trialled, if however this is their standard whilst trying to impress it leaves a lot to the imagination.

Lovely property, on the lake

We had a lovely long weekend at Swan Lake Lodge, Everything that you can possibly think of is provided for your stay , you just need to turn up and enjoy.
