Very peaceful location, a little tricky to access due to some narrow single track roads, but this is to be expected considering its rural location. The pavilion is well equipped and has an enclosed garden which was a definite bonus for our dogs. We enjoyed being able to explore the surrounding farm land in the evening, even finding a seaview nearby The log burner is a welcome feature and can heat the property well.We would happily stay again.
This was our second stay in the pavilion and once again we loved it. Perfect location, plenty of places to walk, beautiful views, peace and tranquility. Eddie is the perfect host, he popped up to welcome us when we arrived then left us to it but wasn’t far away if needed. Looking forward to our next visit.
This was our 4th stay at the Cricket Pavilion and we will definitely be back next year. Perfect location, great place if you want time away from the ‘Rat race’
The pavilion is a quirky, comfy, peaceful retreat with stunning views of the Jurassic Hills, and is within easy reach of plenty of walks and places of interest.
Arrived in roasting sunshine with, a smile on our faces, as we drove along the wild flower flanked track, greated by Eddie our friendly host at the gate to the quirky haven. Comfortable stay with all we needed. Had a fantastic week despite changeable weather.Lots of walks around and straight from the property. We were lucky to have the place to ourselves.Beaches and cliffwalks nearby.Thank you Eddie for sharing your wonderful property!

Clean, comfortable and peaceful
Warm welcome from Rebecca. Attractive property with lovely view set amidst fields. Perfect spot for exploring the coast from Abbosbury to Charmouth. Only 10 minutes from sea at Seatown where there is a great pub. Park in the car park and take you ticket with you and the cost will be deducted from the price of your meal. The George in Chideock was disappointing. Ideal to get away from it all.
A very relaxing getaway from it all place to stay. Everything you need to enjoy a much needed break.
The Cricket Pavilion met all our expectations, a rural escape nestled in beautiful Dorset countryside. It was warm and comfortable as during our stay the weather was very changeable with a few thunderstorms thrown in!!, we were happy to watch the storms pass from the comfort the pavilion with the log burner lit and the lights off. Some lovely walks from the farm kept us and our little dog busy and we managed not to get lost once, after studying the local maps left in the pavilion. We will definitely be returning hopefully in the spring for more chilling, walking, enjoying the beautiful surroundings and comfort of the Cricket Pavilion, North End Farm.
What a great little property tucked up in a field above the old farm buildings. Relaxed quiet walks in the countryside leeding to several nice spots to eat and drink and soak in the views.
Easy access down to several dog friendly beaches.
Plus - Very clean and well equipped. Welcome fresh bread, jam and milk. Cannot fault the property. Owner sorted out a minor problem with the TV very quickly.
Minus- Description did not indicate it was not in the village but had been moved to a farm 2 miles away, so a car journey or long walk to nearest pub !! Garden was very overgrown, long grass, such a shame as it was originally well cared for.
This is a lovely cosy cottag and within easy reach of lots of lovely places to visit. It has good walks around the farm and the owner is helpful and welcoming. Great for dogs ours loved it.
The Pavilion is a great place to get away from it all , more than enough room for 2 plus a dog !, fantastic views , cosy on a cold winters night with the added bonus of a woodburning stove !, and the welcome pack was a lovely surprise.
We had a lovely few days in Symondsbury! The house is a charming conversion of a cricket pavilion on the farm, which our dog absolutely loved. You can walk over the hill to Symondsbury, or down to Seatown nearby. We also went to West Bay, Lyme Regis and Burton Bradstock which are all a short car journey away. I highly recommend staying in the pavilion for a relaxing break and getting back to nature.
Really quirky and cosy property, the ideal place to relax surrounded by beautiful countryside with lovely walks right on the doorstep. Thanks to Eddie for sharing this lovely location with us.
We had a great time staying at the cricket pavilion. It was a great base to explore the local area and the view from the patio over the hills was beautiful. We’d love to come back again!
From booking to checking out everything went smoothly - Eddie met us at the property and was on hand if needed. Nice touch with the welcome pack
The accommodation did everything as detailed in the details
The Pavilion is such a precious little find. We stayed for 3 nights and wished we stayed longer! If you're looking for peace, tranquillity and a place to unwind, you'll find it hard to leave the Pavilion. It also has the best location because all our favourite things in the area are very close by. Thank you, Eddie, for sharing this precious place with us! We will be back in the Winter for a Christmas break.

That's fantastic that you are planning a winter return. It's a wonderful snug place in the winter with the woodburner ticking over and the sea not too far away and bracing walks from the door. see you then
Quiet few days in this little hideaway. Friendly owner who was very helpful and supplied local bread and Jam plus other essentials on arrival. Great base for walking and exploring local area. Many thanks
Loved my time away at the cricket pavilion. So peaceful with wonderful walks straight from the door. The pavilion is well equipped and very comfortable. The views from the property are stunning and it is well placed for visiting nearby Lyme Regis and the Golden Cap. Hope to return one day.
