My "sweet home" is on the third floor of an old building, typical of this area Oltrarno (it is not equipped with a lift, as often happens in the old part of the city). In compensation, however, it is very bright and quiet, with a panoramic view of the typical rooftops of San Frediano, where the eye can sweep up to Pitti and Forte Belvedere.
There are two double bedrooms, one with a bathroom with bath, and a single room with a bed that can become a regular bed. In the living room sofa can accommodate one person. Another bathroom has a shower.
In the kitchen you will find a washing machine, oven, stove, microwave and kettle, TV, iron. Throughout the house there is free wi-fi.
On foot you can reach easily in 10-15 minutes to the main museums and the most beautiful places in the center (Palazzo Pitti, Palazzo Vecchio, Ponte Vecchio, Uffizi, Duomo, Piazza del Carmine and St. Spirit) as well as the main shopping streets, such as via Tornabuoni. Who does not want to walk it at various available bus, with the bus nr 6 you will reach both the center and the Accademia Gallery. In the evening the Oltrarno district is full of pubs, restaurants and taverns and is alive with young people who spend the evening here with friends.
