Our family really enjoyed our stay at Bay Point Annie’s! The property was impeccably clean and set up just so for all our needs, and the short walk to the sandy private beach was a big added bonus. It was a perfect anchor for us to enjoy all Midcoast Maine has to offer!

We had a wonderful time staying here! The beach that is within walking distance had tons of sea glass and my daughter enjoyed visiting it 2 or 3 times a day.
My favorite part of the house is the deck and the fireplace. I highly recommend staying here.

This place is the perfect Maine getaway for a family. Our family of 6 stayed here and everything we could think about needing was included, along with a gorgeous view and beach. We did lots of day trips to the nearby towns, all under an hour drive. A true gem!

Great house and location
This house is in a beautiful location with water views and has everything you might need while on vacation. It's spacious, clean and comfortable with modern appliances and nice soft linens. Reid State Park is only 10-15 minutes away and is absolutely beautiful. My family had a great vacation here and look forward to returning next year!

We had a wonderful 5 night stay at Bay Point Annies. The host was super responsive and the house had everything we needed- even a state parks pass and lawn games. The private beach was perfect and the fall colors and sunset views from the deck were such a bonus. It was hard to leave!

Good for quiet. Private beach a bit of a let down and the tv in the main room didn’t work well. Kept
Beautiful property and view. Not much in Bath to do. Reid state park is really nice and so is popham beach. Can’t say enough about how nice the house was.

We had a very relaxing vacation at this cottage in Bay Point. The house was clean and beautiful and had all the amenities needed. The property sits in a charming little seaside community with views of the water and lovely breezes. It is just down the street from a very nice private beach, and even though some of the best beaches in Maine are just a short drive away we enjoyed this nearby little beach just as much. Great vacation, we hope to return.

The property was wonderful. It was clean and made us feel like home. Many memories were made. My grandson caught his first fish at the private beach, it was so beautiful hearing the neighbors cheering for him. Very friendly beach. The seals also came to visit it was awesome. Beautiful vacation!

We stayed here for a week with our son before he goes off to college. We had a wonderful time.
Property is very clean, modern and spacious. Bay Point is very quiet and beutifull. Although we didn't use the private beach we went to Popham beach and Reid State park multiple times with the car pass that Annie provided. Would highly recommend this property.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We appreciate the great shape the cottage was left in. Enjoy the rest of your summer.
Ann’s cottage was very clean and comfortable for our family. The cottage is bright and welcoming! The deck was great for gatherings with wonderful views of Fort Popham and Honeywell Beach. Reid State Park is very close by as well as Popham. First Beach down the road is also a nice little beach for morning or evening walks. Ann was a great host who was accommodating and great with communication! Thank you for a wonderful week!
We had never been up to the Georgetown area before so, it was a nice experience. The house was set up nicely and it was clean. Loved the wrap around porch, too.
We kept ourselves busy by visiting all the local points of interest over the week. Such a beautiful location.
The only struggle we had was the Wi-Fi was sketchy which made it hard to watch movies.
Otherwise, a terrific stay at this house.
It made me think of retiring up there at some point!

Thank you for taking the time to provide a review of our cottage. So nice to hear about your stay. Our satellite internet is sketchy. The island is scheduled to get broadband over the next couple of years - we should be in great shape in time for your retirement :)
Our family had the most wonderful stay at Bay Point Annie’s! The house is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the ocean view and had everything we needed. The location is perfect - a quiet little neighborhood with views of Popham from the large deck perfect for enjoying this amazing location. We enjoyed grilling for dinner and eating out on the deck and loved the gas fireplace on the deck in the evenings. The lawn was great for games and the private beach was a quick walk away and ideal for easy beach trips when we didn’t feel like climbing in the car. The kids loved their room (the Xbox was a fun surprise) and the loft bedroom upstairs was a lovely sanctuary for my husband and I. We can’t wait to come back!

Bay Point Let Down
Description of property did not mention there was a "parking lot" for neighboring cottages on the lawn next to the house as well as parking spots literally behind the house - open the bathroom window and you could touch vehicles. People coming and going at all hours really detracted from the relaxing atmosphere we were hoping for on our vacation. Description also neglected to mention the upstairs bedroom doesn't have a door, rather a curtain to pull closed. Dishwasher and washer/dryer were nice amenities. Took advantage of the provided Maine State Park pass. Sadly are not interested in renting this property again.

Thank you for staying at our property and for taking the time to provide feedback. We are sorry to hear about your concerns and have modified our listing to make the loft concept and parking reality more clear. We have seen long vacant properties rejuvenated and interest in our community grow significantly this year. Again, thank you for your feedback and we hope you enjoy the rest of your summer.

Modern Cottage in Private Area Overlooking the Kennebec River and Ocean.
Our five grandchildren thought this was a fabulous place to spend together. They loved the nearby beach and the large lawn
to play catch or play soccer. Not far away were Reid State Park and Popham beach. Grandfather did not have to do much to
keep them entertained.
This newer home with a nice wide deck is well equipped, clean and the rooms are spacious. We ate in every night except one. On that night we went to Five Islands. You sit outside and you bring your own wine and enjoy a beautiful view of the ocean and surrounding islands.
Easy to get lobsters and other necessities of seaside life.
This area is like a private compound with very little vehicle traffic even though there are several beach houses nearby. If you like a quiet
place (not including 5 grand children) this is the place to be. It was perfect for our gang but not too quiet. They were all sad to leave.

So relaxing and beutiful!
This cottage is in a great spot so beautiful no matter which window you look out of. It was like being on an island far away. A perfect breeze on the unseasonally warm days. Quiet and did I mention relaxing if you are looking to unplug with all of teh comforts this is it. No internet, limited TV so perfect. The views amazing and the smell and sounds of the ocean.
Of course I stopped at teh store and forgot a couple of things but no wrroy, it was there at the house extra condiments and spices that one may forget, so nice not to have to run to the store again. smiling The beds all had those wonderfull bedbugs cover on the mattress's and boxsprings. (trust me after staying at a place in Bar Harbor that had bed bugs this season I was grateful to see these). Everyone thins was clean and so homey. Perfect stay!!!!!! I will definately keep this in mind for the furture.
