Charming knotty pine cottage with a large screened porch, 2 spacious bedrooms, sleeps up to 9 with 1 queen, 1 king, 1 set of bunk beds, pull out sofa bed in living room and a twin bed on the porch, 1 recently renovated and enlarged bathroom, large living room with lake views, sunny western exposure with beautiful sunsets, large level grassy yard for sunbathing and kids playing, two picnic tables, lounge chairs and plenty of outdoor furniture, propane BBQ grill (propane included), fire pit (first nights' wood provided), sandy bottom gradual beach with crystal clear water for swimming and new dock for up to two 32’ boats. Canoe, rowboat, 2 kayaks and 5 person paddle boat with life jackets included. No pets or smoking allowed. Please bring your own linens, pillows and towels. Great location with easy access by boat or car! Rates starting at $599 for spring and fall weeks. $3,000/week during prime weeks. 55" flat screen Smart TV and DVD player in living room, Cable TV in living room and bedrooms. We loved our stay!

We loved our stay here, the property was perfect, the area had good places to eat and plenty to do, and the host was very helpful with any questions we had and as a guide for what to do in the area. You can't beat staying here - right on this beautiful lake!

Beautiful location

The lake front property was perfect! It offers lake activities along with a private backyard and a firepit. Beautiful location with a screened in porch. The owners were nice and and accommodating.

Really good vacation

The house is really well cared for, and in a great location! The waterfront is sandy, which is a super plus. Really friendly owners. The house has plenty of space and plenty of parking. Also pretty close to attractions(within a half hour of most things you'll need/want)

Fall vacation

Cute cottage right on the lake. Amazing sunsets, very quiet. Home was as pictured. We loved the area, enjoyed our stay and if we ever return to New Hampshire we would definitely book again!

Excellent!

We have stayed here before and this year was just as excellent as last year! There's a lot of privacy, great owners, and close proximity to all the fun the lake has to offer :) just a few minutes to Meredith and about a half hour to Weirs beach, a great house in a great location. Very peaceful.

The house was exactly as listed. The beach was great for the little kids to play with. Sandy waterfront access. The dock was accommodating easily fitting 2 larger boats. The house was conveniently located to town. Great host, looking forward to 2025

Relaxation on the Lake

Our family enjoyed a wonderful week at this property. The location on the lake is amazing - water perfect for swimming and sandy beach area great for lounging. The home is well equipped and comfortable. We most enjoyed the screened in porch for dining and relaxing. The owners are readily accessible for any questions that may arise. Highly recommend!

Great location, gorgeous sunsets!

This was our first time renting Jayne's cottage and it was lovely! Perfect for a family of four to six. The location was great, beach was perfect with a sandy bottom that went out past the dock. The play structure in the lake owned by the neighbors was a blast for our kids. We saw a black bear too, which was kind of neat! All in all a great week.

Perfect Lake Location

We have returned to this property for a few years now because it is in a perfect location on the lake. It has access on land to many of our favorite activities and as a lake site it offers fantastic space and privacy, helpful shade during parts of the day, and good boat access. The house is simple but highly functional and comfortable. The owner is also very kind and hospitable. It continues to be an excellent retreat for us each year.

The owners live next door and will help with any questions. The place is neat and clean. They have kayaks, canoe and various items for enjoying the lake. Plenty of outdoor furniture to sit on and enjoy the outdoor setting. You do need to bring your own linens and towels.

Annual Winni trip

Came across this little gem on a last minute booking, and we are so glad we did! Jane and Wayne were excellent hosts, meeting us upon our arrival and providing us with everything we needed for a great week on the lake. The locationIs perfect. Walk out sandy beach and if you like to fish, there are many coves to explore located within a short distance by boat. We caught plenty of largemouth, smallmouth, & rock bass. House was clean.With plenty of seating outside and inside in the event of bad weather to play games, have family style dinners or just watch the sunset through the nice large living room picture window overlooking the lake. If you're looking for crystal clear waterIn a private pristine location, you won't be disappointed we've already rebooked for next year!

Wonderful relaxing vacation

This was our 6th year staying at the cottage and somehow every year gets better and better! The owners, Jayne & Wayne, make updates each year and are very accommodating. They go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need for your stay. We arrive, and hardly ever leave. The yard is very well maintained and the beach is lovely. We've seen some of the best sunsets during our stays. We have a 7 & 5 year old who enjoy this vacation as much as we do. If you are looking for a very relaxing vacation, look no further.

Can't Wait Until Next Summer!

Our family had the opportunity to stay twice at Swallowpoint Cottage this summer. Our second stay was equally as great as the first. One thing I didn't mention in my first review that is worthy of noting is that the owners of the property seem to really care that you feel comfortable and have an enjoyable time. Both times we were greeted with a "welcome basket" of homemade goodies and an extensive listing of places to visit, restaurants, things to do in the area. They were so welcoming and friendly to us and our 2 young children. Counting down the days until our stay next summer :)

Our week on Lake Winnipesaukee

We really enjoyed our week on lake Winnipesaukee! Jayne and Wayne have a beautiful property and a very clean house! It was just my husband, I and our son but there was plenty more than enough room to sleep and have 9 people stay! Our son loved the fact that he could run out to the beach and play in the sand! We caught all kinds of fish through the week! Many local attractions were not open through the week but, we went to Clark's Bears, Castle in the Clouds, and Story Land. What a peaceful and quiet week! If we return to Lake Winnipesaukee in the next few years we will rent right from Jayne and Wayne again!

Great outdoors area!

Overall we really enjoyed our stay!! The pros: super comfy beds, great beach perfect for young children, great fire pit for toasting marshmallows, awesome dock, great lawn area for outdoor activities The cons: We thought I’d was a little overpriced for what you get, not a lot of room in the cabinets for food and things. The kitchen could use some updating, the fridge was leaking a little. The bathroom door was hard to close and was very loud, which is tough when you have a sleeping baby. It was a great vacation though, the owners are nice! I would recommend this place to a small family but I think more than 5-6 people is too many.

Perfect Family GetawayLike to start by thanking Jayne & Wayne for sharing their beautiful cottage on Lake Winnipesaukee with us! We were greeted with a "welcome basket" of homemade goodies from a local farm, and an extensive listing of places to visit, restaurants, things to do in the area. We enjoyed the privacy and proximity to all the fun things the lake and area has to offer. The cottage was exactly as described! Vacationed in other places listing things they did not have. Not here! Clean and very comfortable. We loved the convenience of the dock and the use of the rowboat and paddle boat for fishing, plenty of fish to catch. We caught 58! Not to mention the amazing sunsets, the loons, and bald eagles we saw. The screened porch was a big hit with the family, dining and just relaxing… Again, thank you for sharing your beautiful lakeside cottage and being so welcoming and friendly. Enjoyed our conversation with you Jayne when we were heading out. Best

Great house for our family vacation

My family and I had a wonderful stay. We loved the convenience of the dock for our boat and the kids loved the beautiful sandy beach. There are 2 kayaks, a canoe and a paddle boat that we also took out on the water and to the water trampoline and slide. This was our first time staying on the northern side of the lake. We saw a ton of wildlife including loons, plenty of fish, and a bald eagle. Jayne was very helpful with directions for us coming in on the water with our boat. There are rocks in the area, but the owners did a fabulous job marking them with floating fake ducks. There is also new carpet in the family room and a coin washer/dryer that is not reflected in the pictures. The washer and dryer were really nice to have-Don’t forget to bring your quarters!

Wonderful Vacation!!!

We had a wonderful week at the cottage and booked our fifth year in a row on departure. You can’t beat what this place has to offer, it’s very clean with everything you need a full kitchen which is fully stocked and a nice outdoor grill! Plenty of room in the yard for outdoor activities with a gentle slope to the lake with a beautiful sandy beach and nice forty foot dock which handled our 24’ boat and jet ski on one side and left the beach side open for swimming. You’re not going to want to miss the amazing sunsets. The peddle boat and hammock were a great addition this year and got a lot of use. There are also kayaks, canoe and rowboat so you can be as active as you like or simply relax and take in the view it’s amazing! The owners Jayne and Wayne are amazing hosts and two of the nicest people going and we would like to thank them for seem less and wonderful vacation as always, see you next year!! Michael C

Lake Winnipesaukee is my favorite place to be from early May to late October!! We have lived on the lake all of our lives and been lucky enough to grow up by the water.

Why they chose this property

Wake up each morning and watch the sunrise on your very own private dock. Don't be surprised if you are greeted by the morning loons. See a different colored sunset each evening. Spectacular!!

We love it so much we live next door to our rental cottage. The cottage is well maintained by my husband and I. Our guests are simply friends we have not met yet! It is extremely important to us that we exceed your expectations and make your stay at the lake special!

What makes this property unique

Enjoy swimming, boating and relaxing in a private setting. Watch fireworks from the front yard. Swim anytime day or night. Enjoy beautiful sun rises and sunsets. Cottage is extremely private yet just a few minutes from town. See eagles, loons, minks, moose, deer and more especially during quieter times in the Spring and Fall. Close to all area attractions, restaurants and shopping.
