Parkview Cottage #9 Sleeps 2- Only 1/2 block to the Beach

Sleeps only 2. 1/2 block from Lake Michigan beach, lighthouse, 4th of July fireworks, skate-park, and pier.

Parkview is a non-smoking campus. Smoking is not allowed on the premises.
Starting in 2026 we no longer allow children. Pets are also not allowed and only adults over the age of 25. If you are a larger person, please do not rent this cottage, as it may be to small for you!

We have also eliminated stays during the Gus Macker basketball tournament, usually during the father's day weekend.

House Rule: No EV Charging or Storage Allowed (Indoors or Using Indoor Outlets)

Please write me a note describing your party if you decide or are thinking of renting from me. This is my mid size cottage with a kitchenette. One burner cook-top, smaller fridge, kitchen sink with plates, toaster, microwave and 5 cup coffee maker.

This cottage sleeps 2 in 1 full bed. If you have stayed here before we have eliminated the trundle bed, so it no longer sleeps more than two. I like to make sure guests are not surprised about the size of the cottage, shower and other accommodations. Clean and comfortable with decks, gas grills. Linens, towels, cable and Wi-Fi provided. One half block from Lake Michigan beach, lighthouse, 4th of July fireworks, Skate park, and pier. Pickle ball courts just one block away.

Great beach weekend getaway

This is the perfect little cabin in the perfect location. It was clean and functional. The shower is not well suited for large people but otherwise a great rental. Awesome host!!

Cozy Cottage, AWESOME location!

This is a gem of a cozy get away cottage in Ludington! Literally just steps from the beach, and was a perfect location for family members who were needing a location to rest between the fun outdoor events planned in Ludington each day of our stay. I hope to return in the future and will recommend this location to friends!

Nice cozy cabin a block from Stearns Park.Quite areaSet up like an efficiency as 1 room and a bathroom. For my husband and I it was the right size as we utilized both beds. It would have been a tight fit on one bed which is probably full size.He supplied toiletries in the bathroom . Plates,coffee cups and utensils to enjoy breakfast.One more chair and table would be nice so we could enjoy coffee outside our door . Borrowed from the neighbors .Ester the flower lady next store brought me a vase full

Lovely cottage close enough to walk to the beach

We stayed in the efficiency unit of this set of cottages. They were built in the 1930s and have a lot of charm. There is a large courtyard with picnic tables and grills for sharing larger meals, but also we walked to most of the local restaurants.

This cottage was adorable and perfect for our quick trip for the Ludington Gusmacker. Location is perfect! It's walking distance to the beach and downtown. Very clean and comfortable. Jeff was kind and easy to work with. I would highly recommend.

Perfect little cottage

Cute and clean, the cottage was just as advertised. It was just right for my sister and I to spend time together and at the beach. We easily walked to the beach from the cottage as it was just 1/2 block away. Jeff is a terrific host. Plan to rent there again in the future.

AMAZING location near beautiful Stearns Beach and the State Park. Quaint & clean cottage with all the necessities and amnenities that suited our needs perfectly. We even enjoyed an afternoon on the main deck area grilling out. Best of all was communication with Jeff. He was very quick with responses to our questions regarding parking and SUPER helpful with an accidental lock-out. Lovely gentleman even stopped by to check on us!! We cant wait to come back next summer with additional family members. Thank you!

Camping in a tent may be better

Jeff was great to work with and very responsive. The cottage is a building and offers shelter from rain. Thankfully the roof didn't leak. It is a great location, being very close to Stearns Beach and a short walk away from Ludington Center. The cottage itself needed a bit of work and lots of cleaning. The cottage felt dirty and was indeed dirty. There were spider webs in nearly every corner. There is no AC. You can have the windows open, but everyone that walks by can easily see in. The light outside of the cottage did not work, getting back after dark was not pleasant unless you have a flashlight. I guess a positive with this is it keeps the bugs down. The bed sheets had long pieces of hair entangled in them. Ewww... The bathroom is tiny. I am by no means large. I'm 5'8, large boned, and physically fit. I had great difficulty turning or moving in the shower and constantly hit the wall or curtain, ikky. The shower head is angled so it hits the wall. You cannot adjust this. It has great pressure, but is pointless. Due to the angle, the water doesn't hit anything except your head (if you're tall enough). A KOA campground shower was more pleasant than this one. There is no microwave in this unit, but there is a hot plate and pan for warming food. I would not stay here again nor recommend it. It is overpriced for the quality of space. You may not beat the location for this price, but you can definitely find better quality for the same rate within a few blocks.

Shower works fine and is clean. Checked the shower head and it moves fine. Sounds like a KOA employee stayed at one of my places..hmmm If you are large (or big boned) you may find this shower small but it gets cleaned often. Seems that that was the case (large customer). This cottage is adorable. My cleaning person was shown this post and was baffled as was I. This guest stayed in Cottage 9 only BTW.

Great location

First of all the property is 1/2 block or across the street from the beach. The cottage is small, but very clean and has everything you need. Bring your bikes to explore the amazing neighborhood and downtown, otherwise you can walk or drive to where you need to go. This is the absolute best place to vacation!

CUTE BUNGALOW AND GREAT SPOT!

This little bungalow is nestled in with about a dozen tiny houses/duplexes, some a little large and some very small. One block walk to the Stearns Park Beach which is right ON Lake Michigan in downtown Ludington. Clean and neat, although very 'rustic' and not fancy at all, but with all the amenities. Appreciated having dish soap, small bar soaps, plenty of towels.
