Charming ranch style 1 bedroom home, overlooking Boothbay Harbor ! Easy access for handicap or elderly couple. Walk to Harbor for a day of sailing shopping dining ! located across from the Tugboat Inn and locally there is an sea aquarium botanical garden carousel theartre and don’t forget to visit Barrett s cove around corner. Arcadia national park is roughly a 3-4 hour drive and Portland one hour south !

Host did not communicate. Cottage is very old and needs a face lift. Only one comfortable seat in the house. Kitchen was not well equipped. Every closet, drawer, cabinet is filled with ‘stuff.’ Bags, boxes, junk. Refrigerator had old food in it. Hot dogs, cut onion, yuck. Too much stuff crammed everywhere.

Perfect location for a long weekend

We found this last-minute when our previous host cancelled on us, and it turned out to be even better than we hoped. The location could not be better - we parked the car and left it there the entire weekend (except for a jaunt out to Pemaquid Point, less than an hour away). Absolutely everything you want or need in Boothbay Harbor is within easy walking distance. There's a lovely view of the harbor from the breakfast table. Amenities that aren't listed include: Roku TVs in both living room and bedroom, with Spectrum cable and lighting fast wifi; linens provided; microwave, coffee maker, and tea kettle in the kitchen (with coffee and tea in the cupboard); and a pot big enough to steam lobsters under the sink. There is a futon in the living room that could be used as an extra bed if needed. It's not luxurious and has a definite "upta camp" vibe inside, and there were some cobwebs around - but everything was in good working condition and it worked out perfectly for a long weekend. And seriously, the location is *amazing*.

Best location in town

The home is located across the street from the Tugboat Inn. The large window is perfect for photos to take and send home of you enjoying coffee by the ocean. Anything you want to do downtown is just a short walk away.
