The indoor-heated-lap/pool is not for use @ present & this is reflected in reduced prices!Great dates for Xmas ‘26, NY & Easter school holidays ‘27 still available! Discounts for “couple only” stay! Just ask - l’m usually fairly generous as it is less impact on my home!
Please be aware that this is a ecologically sensitive residence & l prefer guests have as little impact on the environment as possible!
I do attempt to recycle all wastes, conserve energy use & restrict water wastage whenever possible! I just attempt to live responsibly & would appreciate if guests could show similar empathy!
It must be noted that guests MUST NOT WANDER from the house onto the surrounding farm for biodiversity reasons! No dogs for the same reason! The gravel road from gate to house is only for driving in & out! Not for walkies!
IDEAL for an executive couple in the sumptuous private super-king bedroom!
If just for a couple, please see “ExcluZivelyYourZ”, also on this same platform & others! Reduced prices! Same residence, but “all to yourselves” (4max) & use of all the main living area, huge TV, stereo etc & front deck, All except my bedroom above the lounge/kitchen/living area, although l am not in residence when guests are present! The main SuperKing suite has amazing colonial cedar furnishings & a magnificent mahogany wardrobe!
The queen bed suite has an additional connecting bathroom & a small lower level foyer area set up as a private kitchenette!

Large flatscreen TV & quality hifi, with masses of DVD concerts or just plug your iPhone in for your own music!

The active solar system produces sufficient 240v power (if guests do not indiscriminately waste power)! There is a $8,000 backup deisel generator & now with an automatic relay to support & boost the solar system during inclement weather & lmake sure l am close by in the local area (usually my motorhome) for support, mainly re use of the deisel backup generator to make sure of sufficient fuel!
l do meet guests on arrival, as this is my home & l would like to feel comfortable & make sure guest also feel comfortable!
DO NOT ask for one night stays or discounts as it is already reduced & one night is not economically viable
Extra guests (2 max) are possible after consolation with myself! The house is very large & movement through it is not compromised, although privacy is, to a certain extent! $100/adult/day! I still prefer that extra guests are family members!
My home is NOT SUITABLE for young people who stay up all night partying! Be warned as you will be evicted without any refund! INDOOR-HEATED-POOL HAS BEEN DRAINED FOR MAINTENANCE! DISCOUNTED RATES REFLECT THIS!

Beautiful house and surroundings with enough room for our group of ten people to be comfortable
The owners are very accommodating and communicate well
Would definitely come back again!
We were made to feel very welcome. House is great that gives you the sense of isolation but it is only 20 minutes from Berry and other tourist spots. Also, the dog enjoyed it as much as us :)

Spacious and great location
A very spacious modern home with antique furniture and some quirky pieces.
The very open plan may not suit everyone with the ‘master bedroom/space’ overlooking the kitchen. The 2 bathrooms are connected to the 2nd and 3rd bedroom. A bit tricky for 3 couples. We enjoyed our meals on the veranda, overlooking the view.

Thanks for taking time to review my home & yes the arrangement of the elevated platform king suite overlooking the living area & ocean/sunrise views may not appeal to everyone!
It is my home & l have chosen to build & be able to enjoy this quirky, but very spectacular arrangement!
I guess some guests are always going to be reserved in their outlook!
Cheers & thanks again for taking the time with a review! Michael
This place was amazing and the host was incredibly helpful! The location is tucked away and offers such a great escape. The house is spacious and easily accommodates large groups.
Only draw back is that the bathrooms were located in the two ensuites so may be difficult for groups of friends to use. Additionally, only one of the bedrooms has a door.

Thanks Annabelle!
My home is clearly described as very open-plan in my description!
I did try my best to accommodate your request for extra guests (6 adults & 7 children)! It was a large group & l doubt I would do so again!
Michael was very communicative in the lead up and during our stay. On arrival we were very pleasantly surprised by how large the place is. We walked, rode our bikes, took kids to Jambaroo, Berry, and Gerringong. Plenty to do there. Most enjoyable was sitting by fire and eating meals by the large windows looking down over foxgrounds. Michael takes great care of the property and it's guests.

Thanx so much Ben! It was a challenging w/end weather-wise & l’m totally chuffed that you could see past that & appreciate the beauty of my forest home & our spectacular local area! Cheers m8 🙏
Two families spent 3 nights at the property and we had a very good time. Great location and very nice and clean house with all the required facilities including the spacious lounge for kids to spend time together. We enjoyed the stay and thank Michael for looking after us well.
A bit of consideration to be given to the locks and keys, will make the stay more complete (but still it gives you the outback experience though).
Accurate directions given to this stunning property in the hinterland location. Superb house design to appreciate the superb view. Spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. All fittings and antique furnishings were of extremely high quality.

Thank you for the kind words Betty! Getting there! As l keep telling peeps, “it’s still not perfect, but it is spectacular”!
We had a fantastic time at this property with family, pets were allowed and was a huge bonus for us! Michael was attentive, helpful and flexible and a fantastic host who cares about providing best experience for guests. The house was very spacious, open plan, has lots of unique features and cosy areas to relax and chill out. Lot of bush walking around the place, farm animals within walking distance and plenty of outdoor area for kids to run around. Lot of beautiful beaches within 10 mints drive. We had a memorable X’mas at Michael’s property and thank you for hosting us! We will definitely visit again.
Set up high on the hill overlooking Foxground valley out towards the ocean. Foxground is private and peaceful set under tall euycalypts with kangaroos hopping occasionally by.
The house has large welcoming spaces with a pleasant mix of old and new featuring high ceilings and some curated furnishings . foxground is truely off grid. Running on solar power and tank water though there is a backup generator and mobile reception.
Beds are very comfortable lush manchester and host Michael is helpful and keen to ensure your stay is enjoyable.
Good location avout 15 min to Gerringong or Berry. Foxgrounds is quirky lux and Worked very well for 2 families with kids sleeping in the elevated zone/ 3rd bedroom loft in main living area

Thank you soooo much Cameron !
Glad you & your two families enjoyed your stay & so impressed that you appreciated my efforts to maintain luxury yet still be able to live off-grid!
Your efforts to look after my home, esp with respect to “minimal water use in this drought” were hugely appreciated!
As l keep saying “It might not be perfect, but it is spectacular”
Cheers, Michael 🙏
Thanks re the kind words, but 3 stars really doesn’t help a host when he has sunk nearly 2 mill into a a property! I know it is not perfect as pool & landscaping need completing, but is still spectacular!
We had a wonderful weekend at this property. The fire was amazing.Michael is a great host very accommodating.

About the host

Ex Biology teacher - 30 years! Short -term rentals @ AmaZingSecluZion, near Milton - 10 years! Been building this upmarket rental residence for the past 2 years & excited to finally offer it for rental
Why they chose this property
Searched for 10 years to find the privacy of acres with ocean view & a short distance to seaside villages!
What makes this property unique
Waterfalls closeby (150m) Lyrebirds & wombats are your main neighbours! Yet, only 10mins drive though a gorgeous valley to either Berry or Gerringong! 20mins to Kiama!
Residence is ideal for an executive couple - king size bed & total privacy on a raised mezzanine level affording amazing views of sunrises etc (usually my bed, of course)!
There are two more private suites @ the rear, each with adjoining bathrooms, one a queen bed & the main with another king bed with two very comfy full length lounges! Each suite has its own private entrance!
A 4th full size bed is available as a fold out quality leather lounge in the main living area! Possibly the better option for bedding down children as it is in front of new huge TV & fireplace!
As well as beds, 4 full length (2m) lounges can be made up for single adults/children (feather doonas & pillows only)
There is also a Retro bus available, (please search for it on AirB&B as well)! I usually park it in the rainforest part of the acerage & has 240 power & toilet facilities, privacy etc! It could be made available if any of the couples néed total privacy!
All bed linen (except lounges), doonas & towels are included for all guests!
The residence is very spacious & there is no problem with enough room to move about even with 12 guests!
The front deck embraces ocean & valley views & has 4m wide, 3m high bifold doors that open up from the cathedral like main living area!
A 3/4 size pool table is available for guest use!
Just spectacular, but still a work in progress! 3rd bedroom & 2nd full bathroom to be finalised before December school holidays!
There is an indoor heated pool nearing completion but will not be available for use until possibly Easter! Apologies!
