La Cabaña is a modern, private entrance, king studio walk-out apartment on the lower level of our private home located in the golfing (9 courses), fishing (11 lakes), and outdoor paradise (30 miles of hiking/walking/biking trails) of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, the largest, private gated community in North America, 27,000 acres in size. We live on the upper level of our home and are available to insure you have everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Only residents or guests of residents are allowed entry into Hot Springs Village - the paparazzi will never find you here!!
La Cabaña overlooks the par 4, 5th Fairway of Ponce de Leon golf course with a view from tee to green, and is the perfect quiet and peaceful vacation accommodation for a couple or a single. When you arrive at La Cabaña, you will find it spotlessly clean and dust free. Linens and towels will be freshly washed, including the bed blanket. Smoking is not allowed inside or on the property. We are fanatical about the cleanliness of La Cabaña and we personally inspect La Cabaña before each guest arrival to meet highest standards of the best hotels.
When you arrive you will find a dedicated, paved parking place and a paved, lighted walkway past natural wooded area to the private entrance of La Cabaña. Upon booking you will be given your 4 digit key code for the keyless entrance - never worry about locking yourself out or losing the key! The blinds-between-the-glass, double French entrance doors give a view out to the private patio and the woods beyond. The bird feeders on the edge of the woods provide hours of entertainment for bird lovers. Blinds-between-the-glass ensure privacy inside when needed. On the patio outside the French door entrance to La Cabaña you will find chairs, a table for two, and a gas grill. A gas firepit is available for use in the spring and fall. From your private patio there is a beautiful, elevated view of the woods on one side and tee to green view of Ponce de Leon golf course #5 Par 4. The best part is that from your patio there are no other houses in sight, and the cart path is down the hill, on the other side of the fairway. Looking across the fairway are more woods and no houses. La Cabaña is centrally located to all nine Hot Springs Village golf courses and amenities, including being only 2.5 miles from beautiful Lake Balboa Beach and Marina - a quick drive or a walk down a hiking trail. Included are beach chairs for your use if requested. The historic Spa City of Hot Springs, Oaklawn Racing and Casino, and Hot Springs National Park are only a 20 minute drive from La Cabaña. If you are a tennis player (we are), Hot Springs Village has the USPTA Coronado Tennis Center with 10 clay courts and 3 hard surface courts. For pickleball players, there are 14 nicely maintained courts with an active pickleball club that welcomes newcomers.

The features of La Cabaña include a fully equipped kitchenette with granite countertop, small appliances, microwave, coffee makers (drip, percolator, and French press), apartment size refrigerator/freezer, dedicated, remote controlled AC and heat, electric display fireplace, 40" flat screen HD smart TV, full ensuite bathroom with comfort height toilet, and a luxury king bed. Plush, clean, terry bathrobes will be waiting in the wardrobe. For the safety of our guests, La Cabaña has a smoke detector, a fire extinguisher, and a carbon monoxide detector in the unit.
Free WiFi, and YouTube TV with all cable and local channels. The 40" HD Smart TV can be watched in comfort from the rocker/recliners. Outside the covered entrance French doors you will find a private, lighted patio surrounded by azaleas, with bistro table, patio chairs, bird feeders, and a gas BBQ grill. A gas firepit is available for use in the spring and fall months.
Nearby Lake Ouachita (45 minutes) is the largest and cleanest lake in Arkansas and famous for trophy stripers and hiking. Bring your fishing gear (or borrow ours) and your golf clubs! Bicyclists and hikers will enjoy the beautiful network of trails in the Village and all of Arkansas.
The bathroom is large, with a comfort height toilet, porcelain top vanity with drawers, and a modular, acrylic shower stall with soap and shampoo dispenser, and an electric forced air wall heater.
All guests must be minimum 21 years of age. If you are a first-time guest of La Cabaña we ask that you plan to arrive before 10 PM if possible. We like to greet our new guests and show them into La Cabaña to make sure that you are comfortable and have everything you need. Coffee, tea, bottled water, snacks, and basic condiments will always be in La Cabaña for your arrival.
