Very clean, cute and cozy house. Lots of room for us to spread out with a good-sized closet. The beds were very comfortable, and the shower was very relaxing with lots of hot water. The only issue some people may need to consider is the number of steps to get to the house. It was too hot for us to walk to the downtown area, but it was a short drive. Would recommend this place if you are going to Hot Springs.

My husband and I took a little weekend getaway to celebrate his milestone birthday. The Poppy House was the perfect base for us as we explored Bathhouse Row, Hot Springs National Park, and the lakes. We had a lovely, romantic weekend and staying at this property was a huge contributor. The kitchen gave me the opportunity to cook fresh, delicious meals for us, the living room provided a wonderfully cozy movie night while snuggled on the couch, and don't even get me started on the freshest shower I've ever taken with the rainfall showerhead. This was a great trip and we really appreciate Jason and Dawn's hospitality.

House was close to everything we wanted to do. And was very clean. Could have used some hot pads in the kitchen and another kitchen towel. But overall a very relaxing stay. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great.

We had a wonderful time at this quaint, modernized vintage home in Hot Springs! Very clean and cozy. Jason was extremely helpful and responsive when we needed him. Although a little farther of a walk to downtown than we were comfortable with, it was a super easy to reach by car in just a few minutes. Great hosts and a great home! Thank you!

The house was clean and beautiful but smells old and wet and couldn’t the smell out of it Wi-Fi didn’t work and them long stairs don’t work good to get in and out

Response from VrboOwner on 6 Aug, 2026
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad to hear you found the home clean and beautiful, although we’re sorry to hear that you didn’t have the experience we hoped for. The stairs are disclosed in the listing so guests can review the layout and accessibility prior to booking. We also wish you had reached out to us during your stay. The internet appeared to be working properly on our end, and we would have been more than happy to help troubleshoot and walk you through the case-sensitive Wi-Fi password. Likewise, had we known about the smell during your stay, we absolutely would have done our best to address it right away. We always want our guests to feel comfortable and have the opportunity to resolve any issues while they are there. We’re sorry you had a disappointing experience and appreciate you bringing your concerns to our attention.
