Opito Bay - A Slice of Paradise on the Coromandel

North facing 3 level fully furnished holiday home with fabulous views of the Mercury Islands. Two minutes walk from the beautiful sandy beach. Excellent fishing and diving spots minutes away. Great walking tracks nearby to take in the wonderful scenery. A great location for all, whether it is time away relaxing with family and friends soaking up the casual beach atmosphere of Opito Bay or serious fishing and diving time out around the Mercury Islands. A paradise for both kids and adults alike.
Special conditions:
Linen hireage and a cleaning service is available at an additional charge. Three nights minimum stay during shoulder season. Four nights minimum stay during peak season. Tariff is based on 8 people but holiday home sleeps a maximum of 12 people. Family groups preferred.

NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to: Leave the house as you found it, clean, dishes done and rubbish removed. Bring your own sheets, pillowcases and bath towels. Beach towels and tera towels supplied.

Fabulous long weekend at Opito Bay

Amazing property, so much space for a large group/two families, incredibly well stocked kitchen. The bay itself is beautiful - awesome waves, calm places for paddle boarding and great fishing! Hosts have great coms and are very accommodating. Thank you for a great weekend.

Opito Perfection

What a great holiday. We’ve been wanting to stay in Opito over Christmas for so long. This bach has everything and more. The layout is great, location perfect. It has so many amenities. We will definitely be back.

Holiday Fun

Great place to have family stay for a holiday lots of room everything you need great beach fishing wasnt that great but thats fishing. Kids enjoyed snorkling and kayaks . Dolphins were out in the bay they were great watching. Joy was very easy to talk with and very welcoming. Thanks for a great time we will be back

Hidden paradise

Although the weather didn’t play ball that is putting it mildly!!! We had a great stay at this quiet beach 😎 House fully equipped with plenty of fridge & freezer room which was needed for our 12 nights with 4 adult & 1 teen. Highly recommend if you want to get away from it all with no Wifi!! 😳

Stay in Opito Paradise

This property was very well situated for access to the beach and walks along the waterfront. Communication from the owners was excellent and we were lucky to be the first to use the new kitchen which was beautiful. Large, with everything that you could wish for in appliances, storage, crockery, cutlery and utensils.The BBQ was great.The bedroom configuration was almost perfect, we were a party of 9 adults and didn't realise that the fifth bedroom was a garage space - someone had to miss out on the views from the bedroom and be in a thoroughfare.That did not distract from our enjoyment of our stay, which was a time for catching up with family and enjoying the peace and beauty of Opito Bay.An excellent location and the accommodation was everything that we could wish for, unanimous agreement from us all.Thank you.Theresa

Beautiful home in a beautiful location

My family and I had the most amazing time in Opito Bay! Joy and Phillip were so easy to communicate with and provided easy to understand instructions regarding our stay. The home itself had all we needed and more. Everything was provided and flexibility with check in and check out times made it easier. We made a lot of great memories whilst there and plan to rebook next year. Thanks Joy and Phillip :)

Great Short Break

Our family of young adults and teens took a micro break for 4 days. It's a magic spot with great views and outdoor spaces. The house was very clean, well equipped and comfortable. We will difinitely be back! Thank you so much!

Really enjoyed our time at Opito Bay. Awesome house to stay with all the tools for a good trip. Sadly the weather was not too good on our last two days. But we got out there for a fish and a dive. Caught some really good Kahawai, Snapper and Trevally. We will definitely be back for Summer.

Joy and the local agent Colin were great; the bach was really well equipped and we had a wonderful time at Opito. The only glitch for us, coming from the UK, was that the website said that we had to bring our "own linen (towels/sheets/tea towels)", but in fact that was all provided.
