Tranquil 3 bedroom cottage which is situated in a lovely Australian setting with the background overlooking Wombat State Forrest. Near the historical townships of Trentham, Blackwood and Barrys Reef. Spacious main bedroom with a queen bed. Bedroom 2 had 1 set of single bunks and a separate single bed in the the room and in Bedroom 3 there are 2 sets of single bunks. Amenities are simple and in tune with era with basic electric stove and standard shower facilities. The house is designed with natural light that whether it is winter and you viewing the snow falling or you are enjoying a book with a glass of wine on the elevated veranda. Warm and inviting wood heater during the colder months with a relaxing veranda to enjoy feeding the wild birds and enjoying the peace and quiet.

Hi I am semi retired carpenter who loves the bush and animals. Horses , dogs, cows chooks etc entertain my days and keep me mighty fit. Most days are spent working on my bush block gradually improving it and working the horses. Before I left to live in WA for awhile my bush block ran Misty Mountain Medicinal Herbs specialising in Biodynamic Ginseng. Life is always full of challenges and entertainment in the bush.
Why they chose this property
When I returned from WA in the mining industry I bought this lovely cottage to live in while I brought back my bush block. The property caught my eye with the lovely big windows that bring in the bush and keep out the cold. Even the garden had been landscaped in a simple but very pleasing arrangement that allowed to really relax at the end of the day. Often the simpler things are the easier it is to escape from the rush and bustle of the city. When I am too old to do what I do now I will retire to this lovely cottage and relax.
What makes this property unique
In the evenings it becomes very quiet which allows you to take in all the little creatures sounds and activities. If you enjoy a walk the bush is so relaxing and allows the dog a chance to explore and have fun.
