A fantastic little getaway. Tara Cottage was a perfect space for a quick little overnight stay in Daylesford. The place was immaculate, all the amenities were provided from oversized towels to a coffee machine, lots of choices on the TV and a comfy, warm space. Check in was easy, Prue is a wonderful host and we felt very safe and comfortable at the cottage. We didn't bring our dog on this trip, but the food and water bowls (plus treats!) were a welcomed amenity had our pup joined us. Really centrally located, easy access to some of the best Daylesford has to offer.

The property was very well appointed for a short or medium length stay for two. A small area for dogs at the front is fully enclosed however the backyard is open. The location as a short walk to central Daylesford or Hepburn Springs is ideal to not need to drive much once you arrive, but a short drive and you’re in Creswick or Castlemaine. Walking Lake Daylesford was definitely a highlight. The property is an ideal base for a relaxing holiday.
