We enjoyed a family stay for one evening. We each had our own ecclectic and cozy room. The enclosed private yard was so nice for relaxing. The coffee roastery was a nice mid morning experience. I am an early riser though, so some coffee available in the farmhouse would have been appreciated. The host was super responsive to inquiries.

Overall charming offering in rural Essex county with excellent coffee and very knowledgeable and affable staff. We’d say it’s so well loved that it might be due for a bit of a refresh, specifically the living room seating which is a little long in the tooth and probably needs at least one more comfy chair, and a refreshed second couch; two of the three lamps didn’t plug into anything so didn’t work leaving us a bit in the dark. A little more attention to detail would be well worth the effort. The beds could do with some refreshed pillows as well for a slightly better sleep. Please also include pics of the secondary bedrooms so people know there’s a crib and also low ceilings when sleeping two adults. A little tattered but clean and just what we needed for an overnight stay, with a few little tweaks it would be a multi nighter.
