With room for 20, this 4-bedroom, 4 bath single-story house offers 8 queen-sized beds and 4 twin-sized beds.

Nestled in the majestic cypress trees, this gorgeous home offers stunning views of the beautiful Frio River and plenty of room to spread out and relax. Sit on the oversized back porch and watch the tubers float by, or head down to your private Frio River frontage and spend the day enjoying the river – either way is time well spent. At night gather around the fire pit suspended over the banks of the river and watch as the stars begin to light up the Texas sky!

Easy access to all major activity areas in Concan, including House Pasture Cattle Company and Frio Valley Ranch Golf Course and you're just minutes away from Garner State Park.

House was clean, and conveniently located. River was still a little low, but considering the drought conditions it was understandable. Kids had a great time (ages 2-11). Brannon and Wendi were always quick to respond to any question or concern I had.

River Thanksgiving

Spacious property within walking distance of the Frio down a steep grade. Operative fireplace. Showers are large but oddly made: spray water all over bath so be sure to bring lots of towels! And bath mats.

Wonderful Hone/Bring Everything You Need

We absolutely loved the home and the location was perfect. However, bring everything you may need from foil to salt, trash bags, everything. You won’t find any back up supplies at the home.

Frio Trip

This is a great house and location. We had 3 families ( 6 adults and 6 kids ) and there was plenty of space with room for more. Great private river access. We will definitely be coming back.

Hunting Trip

We had a total of 16 men staying here for a hunting trip. We were very pleased with the location of the property. The house is nice but some of the guys mentioned it would have been nice to have a half bath somewhere. Other than that everything was great !

Great Spring Break with the Family

We stayed here over Spring Break with some friends and family. House was clean and a perfect fit for all 4 families. Beautiful spot on the river and great location between 2nd and 3rd crossings. We will stay here again for sure!

Hey y'all! We're Brannon & Wendi Hightower, owner-operators of Frio River Resorts.

We met in college in 1995 and have been together ever since. Frio River Resorts was started by Brannon's parents nearly 20 years ago and it has been continuously Hightower-family-owned and operated the entire time, with us buying the business in 2018.

We're local and we live in Concan full-time and enjoy serving as stewards of our community with participation in local boards and volunteer organizations. You've likely seen us on River Road as you leave on Sunday supporting the Concan Volunteer Fire Department in our “Fill The Boot” fundraising campaigns, or out to eat at Neal's or House Pasture.
