About your place: Built in 1929, the property, including the casita, has been well maintained by our family for 3 generations. This hidden gem’s interior is thoughtfully decorated with an inspired mix of historic elegance and modern luxury with walls covered in original artwork. The many windows create a light and airy atmosphere. The three exterior doors lead to the two private rose garden patios for your exclusive use.
The interior is complete with Saltillo tile floors, a spacious living room with a comfy couch that has a pull out queen bed and kiva fireplace, an additional sitting room, a sizeable bedroom with a king size mattress (Stearns and Foster) with 700 thread count sheets, a surprisingly large walk-in closet, a full bath with luxury linens, and a well-equipped kitchen suitable for fine cooking.
The modern kitchen includes a Bosch refrigerator, microwave and electric stove, Kenmore dishwasher, a large assortment of pots, pans and cookware, beautiful dinner and glass ware, Keurig, drip, French Press and Italian espresso coffee makers, and a Bosch washer and dryer. The intricate wooden dining table seats 4 comfortably.
Setup as the ultimate retreat, the casita is equipped with high-speed Internet, smart tv (living room only) flat screen televisions setup in the living room. There is also a stereo for CD's, AM/FM radio and MP3 players. All windows have wooden blinds and curtains for those restful times when you need it dark and cozy.
What really sets this casita apart are the two private rose garden patios for your exclusive use. The patios include a traditional portal with a covered full-size dining table to seat 6, a sunlit smaller table and chairs to seat 4, two lounge chairs, an outdoor fireplace and a BBQ grill. The patios have partial views of the beautiful Sangre de Cristo Mountains, and are perfect for lounging, grilling and dining.
Every time you drive through the gate, it feels like you are way out in the New Mexican landscape. But, oops!, forgot that bottle of wine?… There's a gourmet food and wine shop literally down the street! We think you will LOVE IT and understand why New Mexico is called the Land of Enchantment when you experience the unique, rustic beauty of the high desert, its cobalt skies and extraordinary sunsets, while staying in this perfect Southwest casita.

The casita was a fantastic place for our family of 4 plus dog. It’s a 5 min drive to the center of Santa Fe, and close to several popular parks and hikes. The hosts were fantastic and left a little tray of snacks and necessities like olive oil for us, which we really appreciated. I would definitely stay here again!
After dozens of trips to Sante Fe, we have found the ideal location for us! This lovely casita has it all, beautiful, quiet location yet so near to everything has to offer.

We have been to Santa Fe, many times and try to stay in different places each time. This is the best place we’ve ever stayed. The Casita was beautiful, and so was the surrounding area.We spent lots of time at Museum Hill and walking through The Arroyo. It was great.time.
We have stayed here before and love the Museum Hill area. The casita with roses was lovely. All the amenities made for a great relaxing time, and the locale was perfect for all our needs.
Thank you.

Perfect Getaway
This is the perfect place to stay - loved it! From the gorgeous decor to the thoughtfully stocked kitchen, there's no place else I'd rather stay in Santa Fe. It's secluded and safe, but so close to museums and downtown. They thought of everything when setting up the casita and if I could live there, I would!

Thank you so much! It was our pleasure having you here- anytime! We are so happy you appreciate our cozy casita.
One of three casitas plus the owners home on a large fenced property. Comfortable space, questions were answered quickly. Casita has its own fenced backyard with a covered porch and a small grassy area for dogs. Would definitely stay here again!
We had a great time here. Casita was private, clean and offered great views with a nice back yard and patio. We had everything we needed inside. The location was great and close to everything we needed and wanted. Great communication as well. Definitely would recommend.
'La Rosa' was a perfect casita for our mini-break. It's located in
a wonderful area and has 2 patio/garden areas. Our dog loved the grassy area. The rose garden will be lovely when blooming.
It's convenient to everything and the check-in was easy.

The casita was lovely and well located. The owners were very thoughtful in every detail (including a surprise bottle of wine in the fridge for our anniversary). They responded quickly to our questions/concerns (all minor things). We had a fabulous time in Santa Fe!

Dannell, we truly appreciate you taking the time to review La Rosa. It brings us great joy to learn that you had a pleasant stay and took pleasure in the beautiful roses in the garden. Your feedback holds significant value for us, and we hope to host you on your next trip to Santa Fe.
We enjoyed our stay in the Casita especially the ease to walk into the Plaza. Nice and quiet. We were able to use the grill one night and bedroom was very comfortable. Occasionally the wifi was a little slow (husband had to work) but ok. Artwork on the walls was very nice. Would stay there again.

Great Romantic Weekend
We had a great stay in Santa Fe, and this casita was perfect. It is close to the Santa Fe Plaza, but is still secluded and private. We had a relaxing time and the kitchen had everything we needed for a romantic dinner. The garden area offered a great space for morning coffee. We love spending time in Santa Fe and this location is perfect for site seeing. We will definitely come back.

Thank you! We loved having you here! We look forward to you returning.
Casita is located in a great location, old Santa Fe is just over 1 1/2miles away and there are a number of beautiful walks close by. The casita is very secure and private. The open fire was just the thing on the cold evenings. Anaiz, the agent, was excellent and promptly and perfectly dealt with every single issue.

It was a pleasure hosting you during your holiday getaway. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the location and the amazing trails nearby.
La Rosa Casita is a charming place to stay. It is spacious, tranquil and secure so quiet you never realize the Plaza and Canyon Road are near. The artwork and decorations enhanced our stay even more. We throughly enjoyed sitting outside on the beautiful patios and walking our dogs in the park about a block away. Management is the best. When our car broke down on our way to Santa Fe Anaiz, manager, helped us find a towing company. She responded quickly to any questions we had.

The rental company was top notch!!! Responded to questions very graciously and quickly . The home was absolutely perfect for my stay. Beautifully decorated, serene, quiet place with beautiful gardens. The home was comfortable, clean, beautiful and bright! Cozy fire place offering generous amount of cut wood which I enjoyed daily! Had a small dinner party of 6 one night, had all the necessities for cooking , and the back yard and patio was perfect place for a relaxing beautiful outdoor dinner under the stars .

Excellent location and perfect property for couple + dogs
The instructions were incredibly clear. The arrival was seamless; the space is very comfortable with a very nice large master bedroom and a great walk in closet. The pressure in the shower is terrific and they supply some hotel like amenities if you do not bring soap.
The kitchen is a huge plus , well stocked, easy to just manage snacks to cooking full meals. The little backyard is perfect for dogs if you just want to let them out a bit; I chose to walk them in the many city parks that are close by. I felt very safe.
The only small glitch is that wifi did not work, and I did the reset instructions a few times. I would not go there expecting to work (cel signal is fine for broadband); or I would have contacted the manager if it had been important. It was a holiday weekend, so I did not worry too much.
All in all an amazing trip for us.

Very quaint and cozy casita. Terrific art throughout. True Old Hollywood feel. Really enjoyed being so close to so many great Santa Fe spots without having to stay right downtown amongst all tge tour groups.
We loved our stay here - it was indeed charming. Very spacious with a comfortable bed and nice kitchen. Our pups loved the yard and patio. We definitely recommend this home. Thank you.

Lisa,
About the host
Hosted by OSFT Casita Management
Our family has roots in Santa Fe going back to the 1800's, much of it spent on this incredible family property. We are avid travelers; we especially love Italy, the Pacific Northwest, Latin America, NYC and Africa, and have ranged as far from home as Antarctica… but we always love to come home to New Mexico. I am an artist and jeweler and we are closely involved in the Santa Fe Arts community, and always happy to share our knowledge and lifelong experience with the area to help you enjoy your stay.
Why they chose this property
Our property is perfectly located to enjoy all that Santa Fe has to offer, yet very private and peaceful. Our family has lived in the main house (built in 1929) for generations and meticulously cared for the property, including the casita. It is a great place to get a sense of Santa Fe's history & geography. We have easy scenic access to the mountains, so it's an excellent base for exploring the town or the wilderness.
What makes this property unique
Every time you drive through the gate, it feels like you are way out in the New Mexican landscape. As you leave the property you realize you are just up from the plaza, around the corner from the museums and canyon road or poised to head up into the mountains! We think you will LOVE IT!
